There’s something about a large plate of huevos rancheros that just makes my morning! The version at Squat & Gobble isn’t very authentic but it tastes great. The service is always very friendly here and the people watching makes me smile.

I get the feeling that people generally discount Sushi Delight as a legitimate sushi restaurant because it’s attached to The Mint, but I like the place. They serve great tasting sushi at great prices. Yes, their rolls aren’t the most authentic but they’re not purporting to be. Despite what others think of this place, I’m a fan!

This cocktail was pretty tasty and not overpoweringly spicy from the jalapeno. I really enjoy that Hi Tops has plenty of sports-themed specialty drinks to choose from.

It may not be readily evident from this pic, but this nacho plate is pretty darn big! And delicous! They use organic meats and other amazing ingredients. I’m also very much in love with their salsa bar. They have plenty to choose from and you can keep going back for more!

Finally made it to this neighborhood restaurant, and I liked it! We had four people in our party so it was great to try a lot of different items. This dish was really tasty, but maybe a bit over-fried. I loved the jalapenos and the cilantro lime sauce was different and yummy.

I didn’t know it at the time, but this was going to be one of the best meals we had in Reno. Now I don’t wanna talk smack about Thai Lotus because their food was decent, but that’s just really sad for Reno!

The sandwiches here are quite large and pretty good! They tend to pile on the spreads so if that doesn’t interest you, I’d suggest requesting a light application, hehe. I also love that their Dutch crunch bread is extra flaky on top!

This tasted pretty good, but they were definitely skimpy with the seafood. You got two pieces of each if you count that the fish balls were cut in half. Meh.

It’s always interesting to post flower pics on this blog because that’s usually when I find out what the actual names are. I can usually get them to at least the family level before I have to do additional research, but there are just way too many ornamentals out there! 🙂
