Shallot aioli. $7
The Perennial, San Francisco CA
These were ok, but the service at the bar was really shitty! I don’t think I will ever come back to this place or even recommend it because the service was THAT bad. #fail

Eggs over medium, gouda grits, biscuit with a side of gravy. $8.95
Staks Pancake Kitchen, Memphis TN
This was a nice and simple breakfast, but pretty tasty. I loved the grits and the gravy was yummy too!

Blackened chicken, gulf shrimp, mixed peppers, fettuccine, spicy cajun cream sauce. $16
Boscos Restaurant & Brewing Co., Memphis TN
I liked this pasta, but I thought that there should’ve been more of the cream sauce. The pasta felt a little dry. I liked the rich flavor of the sauce. The chicken was good, but the shrimp was overcooked.

Sauteed crispy catfish in spicy chili paste, with beans and basil. Served with rice and salad. $14
Banana House, San Francisco CA
The price has gone up a dollar since last time. I do like this fried catfish though. I wish it was a little more spicy, but I really like the flavors.

Zephyr squash, sunflower, aleppo, mint. $14
Rolf and Daughters, Nashville TN
This was tasty, but I wish I could have at least seen the stracciatella without all the stuff on top covering it up. It was weird to have the main ingredient away from view.

Peat Rose cocktail. Rittenhouse rye, apple, lemon, grenadine, Laphroaig. $11

Jackalope Brewing Company, Nashville TN
This tasting room was super busy, and the crowd was mostly young and college-aged. The atmosphere was loud and fun, and they even had live music. This beer was pretty tasty too!

Tasting menu $87
Petit Crenn, San Francisco CA
I love Kusshi oysters, and these were so cute. Kusshi oysters are nice and small, and clean and bright. Noms!

12 oz $6
Barista Parlor, Nashville TN
I loved the multi-heart foam art on this latte. And the latte was really tasty too!

Small white with breast and wing, syrup, fruit cup, side of macaroni and cheese. $11.50
Hattie B’s Hot Chicken, Nashville TN
This hot chicken was really great, and you could actually really taste and feel the heat! I didn’t mind the wait since it was actually kinda fun. The mac and cheese was also really gooey and awesome, NOMS!

Pale ale. I waited in line forever, but it was nice that you could go inside and get a beer to ease the wait, hehe! I actually met a great group of people in line and we just chatted the entire time. 🙂

Korean bbq chicken with rice, kimchee and salad. $9.20
The Store on the Corner, San Francisco CA
I liked this bulgogi chicken because it was very flavorful and tender. I think it was all chicken thighs. I also like their kimchi!

Biscuit, shaved country ham, 2 fried eggs, sausage gravy. $10
Biscuit Love, Nashville TN
This eggs benedict wasn’t much to look at, but I liked it enough. I especially liked the country ham and gravy. I’m not sure that the biscuit was my favorite. It had a texture of an undercooked one.

Jumbo shrimp in spicy sauce with fresh herbs, garlic, butter, and Creole seasonings. Served with French bread. $13
Boscos Restaurant & Brewing Co., Memphis TN
I liked this dish. The shrimp were a bit overcooked, but the sauce was SO tasty! It almost tasted like garlic shrimp tapas. Yum!

Boscos Golden Ale. $5.50
