Mmm, this pasta was SO delicious and comforting! I loved the simple tomato sauce combined with two types of cheeses. NOMS!

Chicken and cheese pasta, chickpeas, charcuterie,. Complimentary
United Club, George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
This was one of the best food offerings at a United Club that I’ve seen in the States so far. The chicken pasta was really tasty, and of course I had my share of complimentary wine, hehe!
Squash, kale. $15
Barzotto, San Francisco CA
I usually love all the pasta here, but this wasn’t my favorite. It tasted really good, but maybe I just wasn’t in the mood for the kale and squash. I should have stuck with a cheesy, meaty pasta. This was still very flavorful though.
Beurre noisette, mushrooms. Tasting menu $87
Petit Crenn, San Francisco CA
These fluffy pillows were SO delicious! I also loved the warm, comforting sauce and mushrooms.
Octopus, chili, basil, breadcrumbs. $19
Rolf and Daughters, Nashville TN
This was good. I liked the flavor and texture of the squid ink paccheri. The sauce was also tasty, but the octopus was pretty chewy and difficult to eat. Hmm…
Blackened chicken, gulf shrimp, mixed peppers, fettuccine, spicy cajun cream sauce. $16
Boscos Restaurant & Brewing Co., Memphis TN
I liked this pasta, but I thought that there should’ve been more of the cream sauce. The pasta felt a little dry. I liked the rich flavor of the sauce. The chicken was good, but the shrimp was overcooked.
Mushrooms, rosemary. $17
Barzotto, San Francisco CA
Omg, I loved this pappardelle. The flavor was so rich and the pasta was cooked perfectly. The braised beef was so good, and the dish was just very comforting. Yum!
Radish, sichmi togarashi. $15
Barzotto, San Francisco CA
Mmm, this pasta was really tasty. I liked that there wasn’t a lot of different toppings so you could really enjoy the flavors. The braised hen was very tender and the pasta was cooked perfectly.
Braised duck legs, San Marzano tomatoes, garlic, whole wheat radiatore pasta, smoked parmesan, pepperoni bread crumbs. Tasting menu $95
Volt, Frederick MD
I thought that this was a very successful dish. I loved the combination of the duck, whole wheat pasta, smoked cheese, and breadcrumbs. It was a hearty pasta dish, but the flavors were great and you can’t get it anywhere else!
Penne pasta with tomato, oil, garlic, chili pepper. €10
La Biga, Rome ITALY
This tasted fine, but I still couldn’t get over the yellow light! It just made all the food look SO unappetizing! Our server was really nice and friendly though and the experience was great overall (minus the light, lol).
Dried herbs. “Tradition” tasting menu €65
Tordomatto, Rome ITALY
There was just a single swirl of this spaghetti on the plate, but it was a satisfying one! The noodles were more al dente that I’m used to but it worked to hold up to the intense flavor of the sauce and the fine dried herbs on top. It was spaghetti like I’ve never tasted before!
Silverware place setting.
Homemade tagliatelle pasta in a bolognese sauce. €12
La Biga, Rome ITALY
This tasted fine, but that yellow light made all the food look sickly! But I guess why look at your food, when you can look out and enjoy the amazing view of the Colosseum in front of you!
