This salad was pretty tasty! I especially loved the little fried goat cheese balls – they were delicious. The salad had lots of great ingredients and they all tasted great together.

Sorry, the donut got smushed a little bit in the to-go bag but that didn’t affect the taste, hehe! The flavor was really good, but I’m not sure that I was a fan of the donut texture. It was on the doughy, dense side. I like donuts that are light, fluffy, and taste like they’ve been cooked all the way through.

Dynamo Donuts has got to be my favorite donut shop in The City. It’s a walkable distance from my house and provides the perfect weekend morning treat. This candied orange blossom donut was very tasty!
Scented ‘Lady Plymouth’ geranium flower (Pelargonium graveolens, Geraniaceae), Noe Street. This beautiful plant is in a cute wash basin planter near my gym. I love its light, variegated leaves and small pink flowers.

Twenty two bucks, heck yeah! And it includes a mimosa or bloody mary. Wicked Spoon is definitely one of the nicer buffets on The Strip. They have a good selection and I like how some of the dish come pre-portioned. The fried chicken was good, and the spare ribs was flavorful but tough. The orange garlic chicken wasn’t spicy and the breading was a little mushy but it still tasted good.

What’s brunch without a mimosa?! I think I had just gotten out of the gym, so I was very thirsty. Hehe. This was delicous and refreshing. The service at the Noe Valley location of Little Chihuahua is always sweet.

Wow, this was definitely Thanksgiving on a plate! It had all the wonderful components of a traditional Turkey-Day dinner, that’s for sure. And everything tasted great. Horrible for the waistline, perfect for the soul!

The Chinese food here is sad and pathetic. If you want your week’s worth of sodium, then grab a plate at Fung Lum. The food quality is super low and most items are overcooked and dry. Lame!

Two scrambled eggs with fresh mushroom, tomato, basil, zucchini and Jarlsberg cheese. Served with a cup of fresh fruit (strawberry, banana, orange, cantaloupe, honeydew melon), 2 slices whole wheat walnut bread, Darigold butter, and raspberry jam. $10.75

Mmm, this scramble was very good and pretty healthy, even with cheese. Jalrsberg has less fat than other cheese so it was more guilt-free. All the vegetables were delicious, but I wish the eggs had been cooked as a softer scramble. That would have been perfect!
White Hygrandea (Hydrangeaceae), Jersey Street. The house down the street improved their sidewalk-scaping along the side of their building. I love the addition off these lovely Hydrangeas.

The French Laundry, Yountville CA
Another beautifully plated dish! I love the soft, pale colors on the plate from the cara cara (red navel) orange wedges to the pink foie terrine and green sorrel. For a tasting menu, the terrine portion was generous but I did my duty and ate it ALL up, lol!
Warm brioche. This was kinda cool – I was finishing the first half of the thick brioche when a server came up behind me and replaced the remaining half with a new, warm slice. Fresh and warm is best for this dish!
Trio of salts. Pretty and tasty! You could definitely taste a difference between the salts.

All Season Sushi, San Francisco CA
This place is one of those sketchy sushi restaurants that also has a walk-in to-go Chinese food counter in the front. I think everybody who works here is actually Chinese, even the guys behind the sushi bar. That said, I have no shame in heading over when I need a cheap and quick fix of salty, saucy Chinese food.
