Salmon, unagi, tamago, edamame, avocado. $10.82
Bamboo Asia, San Francisco CA
The Japanese rice bowls here are a great, healthy lunch option in the FiDi. The fish is actually pretty decent and I like the topping options.

Squash, kale. $15
Barzotto, San Francisco CA
I usually love all the pasta here, but this wasn’t my favorite. It tasted really good, but maybe I just wasn’t in the mood for the kale and squash. I should have stuck with a cheesy, meaty pasta. This was still very flavorful though.

Egg, tomato, mixed herbs. $3.50
Arizmendi Bakery, San Francisco
I sometimes miss living near the Arizmendi on Valencia Street. I miss the fresh baked breads and other breakfast items. It was also convenient to grab something on my way to work. Yum!

Topped with fried egg, onions, jalapenos, side of achara. $10.50
Senor Sisig, San Francisco CA
This food truck is always popular during lunch so it’s important to get here early. I normally get the sisig nachos, but decided to it over steamed rice this time. I like the flavor of the sisig and it’s nice to have the achara and jalapenos on top to cut through the fattiness. Yum!

Sherry vinegar, smoked breadcrumbs. Tasting menu $87
Petit Crenn, San Francisco CA
I think I’ve only ever had sunchoke purees so this was the first time I’ve ever had them roasted, and they were delicious. Yum!

Four scoops of protein over white rice, surimi crab meat, edamame, pickled ginger, jalapenos, cucumber, masago, seaweed, tomago. furikake, lemon. Large $12.95
I’a Poke, San Francisco CA
This poke bowl was really good and they had a nice variety of poke and toppings to choose from. I’ll definitely be back!

Beef tongue, beans, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, salsa. $3.99
La Victoria Taqueria, San Jose CA
Mmm, this taco was really tasty! And I love their orange sauce, which everyone else loves by the way. They even sell the sauce by the bottle. Yum!

Pickled celery, blue cheese dressing. $11
Finn Town, San Francisco CA
This tasted fine, but there was just SO much breading! I also wish it had more buffalo flavor and was crispy. They were kinda on the wet, soggy side.

Breast and wing, mashed potatoes and gravy, biscuit. $8.49
Bojangles’ Famous Chicken ‘n Biscuits, Charlotte Douglas International Airport (CLT)
Finally tried Bojangles’ and it was really tasty! I loved the crispy exterior and it wasn’t greasy at all! The biscuit was also nice and buttery. Yum!

Glass $6
Babalu Tapas & Tacos, Memphis TN
This sangria was on the watered down side, but the flavors were good enough. It was a decent size though.

Frisee, vegetables, coarse mustard, chimichurri. $16
Barzotto, San Francisco CA
This chicken was very flavorful especially with the chimichurri sauce. I also liked that price point of this delicious entree. Mmm…

Double Deuce seasoning, Calabrian honey. $6
Porcellino’s Craft Butcher, Memphis TN
This was SO good! Both the fried chicken and biscuit were wonderful, and the honey just made this sandwich even better. Noms!
