Chili Cha Cha 2, San Francisco CA
This was ok, I liked the flavors enough, but the dish was really oily and the chicken was a bit on the dry side.

The Bird, San Francisco CA
I gave into my greasy food cravings again and had to have a chicken sandwich from The Bird again! It’s still as delicious as last time. Noms!

Scrambled eggs, ham, fruit, wheat toast. $12
Escena Lounge & Grill, Palm Springs CA
This was ok. They give you plenty of ham, but the scrambled eggs were my favorite. They weren’t very light and fluffy. I still love their complimentary muffins though!

Blueberry muffins with butter.

Two farm eggs, house-smoked salmon, baby red potato, onion, fresh herbs, lemon hollandaise, capers. $16
Eight4Nine, Palm Springs CA
This hash was pretty good. I liked the flavor of the smoked salmon and the hollandaise. The super small, chopped dish of melons really odd though and difficult to eat.

Cheddar, monterey jack, guacamole, sour cream, Blackbook dark salsa. $14
Blackbook, Palm Springs CA
These nachos were pretty tasty, and I really liked the dark salsa. I thought that it could have been priced slightly less though.

Served with French fries and coleslaw. $14
Babe’s Bar-B-Que & Brewhouse, Rancho Mirage CA
I don’t think these were very good. The pulled pork was on the dry side and the buns were squishy and sad. Boo!

Ham and cheese sandwich, meatballs, salumi, red wine. Complimentary
Air France KLM Lounge, San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
I like the snacks that they have at this lounge, and it’s never been super crowded which is an added bonus.

Seasoned basmati rice, garbanzo beans, pickled carrots, tamarind, fruit chutney, herb chutney, yogurt. $12
Dabba, San Francisco CA
I thought this tasted fine, but it was mostly rice and kinda dry. I thought with the two kinds of chutney and yogurt that it was me more moist, but that wasn’t the case.

Sauteed calamari, cucumber, Kalamata olives, roasted red pepper, pickled red onion, lime vinaigrette. $14
Novy Restaurant, San Francisco CA
I liked this salad. It tasted bright and delicious, and it was definitely on the healthy side. The calamari were nice and tender and not rubbery. Yum!

Tuna and hamachi with fried eggplant, cucumber, tamago, pickled ginger, jalapenos. $11
Bamboo Asia, San Francisco CA
Mmm, I love the Japanese bowls at Bamboo Asia. The fish are usually pretty fresh and they have a good selection of toppings and sauces.

Poached shrimp, dungeness crab, tomatillo salsa, fennel. Happy hour $16

This bruschetta was pretty tasty! I liked the seafood and the shaved fennel was great. It made these bruschetta bright and fresh.
