Served with French fries and coleslaw. $14
Babe’s Bar-B-Que & Brewhouse, Rancho Mirage CA
I don’t think these were very good. The pulled pork was on the dry side and the buns were squishy and sad. Boo!

Served with fries. $18
Finn Town, San Francisco CA
Wow, this burger was really good! I loved the crust on the patties and the sauce was really tasty. The burger was quite large, so it was fun to eat. The skinny fries were also pretty tasty too.
Served with Cajun fries. $11.59
Armadillo Willy’s BBQ, Foster City CA
I think I liked the Cajun fries better than the ribs. The Cajun seasoning on the fries was great. Unfortunately, the ribs were kinda dry and there wasn’t much meat on them.
Deep fried 1/2 Cornish hen with seasoned hand cut French fries. $10
Flying Sobie’s Hen House, Memphis TN
Omg, this was SO good! The hen was nice and juicy and I loved the spicy Memphis Gold sauce they put on it. It could have been spicier, but the flavor was very nice.
Ontario cheese curds, beef gravy. $8
Amsterdam BrewHouse, Toronto CANADA
This poutine tasted fine I guess. The fries were nice and crisp, but everything was really cold! Everything I ate at this restaurant was really cold actually. I may not be Canadian, but I’ve poutine before and it’s not supposed to be cold. I don’t know about you, but I don’t cold gravy over cold cheese curds is very appetizing.
Breaded with panko crumbs, served with malt vinegar, tartar sauce, and signature garlic fries. $17.99
Gordon Biersch, San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
This plate was absolutely disgusting! The fist was so thickly battered (where was the panko breading btw?) and super greasy! I couldn’t even eat it. Even the fries, which were definitely cooked in the same horrible oil were hard and just tasted of grease. I want to barf just thinking of this atrocity!!
Served with French fries, tartar sauce. Happy hour $7
Red Hot & Blue, Herndon VA
These were small and there weren’t many, but they tasted pretty good. I liked the cornmeal crust. The fries were the soft, limp kind but I actually really liked them. The not most heart healthy plate though, lol!
House cut fries, bearnaise, demi-glace. $24
Barking Frog, Woodinville WA
Mmm, this was super good. The flat iron had a nice grilled crust on the outside but was still juicy on the inside. I could have done without the bearnaise since everything was already so heavy, but the sauce was good on its own.
$7
Nick’s Riverside Grill, Washington DC
I liked the flavor of the Old Bay seasoning, but these fries were also really salty. Which was a shame because they were cooked perfectly and not greasy at all.
