$1.75
Jim Neely’s Interstate BBQ, Memphis International Airport (MEM)
I liked the flavor of these hash browns, but they were super greasy! I had to used multiple napkins to sop up some of the grease before I could actually eat them.

Cheese, aioli, caramelized onions, pickles. $10
The Perennial, San Francisco CA
This burger was decent, but it was more on the size of a slider! I still can’t forget the horrible bar service that ruined my visit. Never returning to this horrible restaurant!

Fried catfish, shrimp, and crawfish served with hushpuppies and cucumber salad. $14.75
Soul Fish Cafe, Memphis TN
Omg, this was SO much fried food! I liked most of it, but the shrimp and crawfish were kinda dry. The hushpuppies were also kinda greasy. I’m glad I chose the cucumber salad for something more fresh to balance all the fried items. The fried catfish was probably the most decent part of this platter.

Served with tater tots.
Krystal, Memphis TN
Ugh, this wasn’t very good at all. The biscuit was dry and the eggs were hard and tasteless. Hmm, I was starving so I forced this breakfast sandwich down.

Marinated minced ribeye, scrambled eggs over jasmine rice, carrots, cherry pepper, spinach, scallion, demi glace sauce. Served with croissant, rainbow potatoes, fruit. $18
Kitchen Story, San Francisco CA
This was a really hearty breakfast and pretty tasty too! Since I’m such a gravy-lover, of course I loved the demi glace sauce (spelled “demi glazed sauce” on the menu). The scrambled eggs were fluffy and soft, but I wish the potatoes were cut a little bigger.

Octopus, chili, basil, breadcrumbs. $19
Rolf and Daughters, Nashville TN
This was good. I liked the flavor and texture of the squid ink paccheri. The sauce was also tasty, but the octopus was pretty chewy and difficult to eat. Hmm…

Cup $2
P.F. Chang’s, Memphis TN
I’m not a fan of restaurant chains, but this soup was pretty good! I liked that it was on the spicy side (and salty, but I like salty). Yum!

Bay shrimp and wild rice, sauce Americaine. Tasting menu $87
Petit Crenn, San Francisco CA
Omg, these grilled squid were delicious! I loved the sauce and the portion was general for a tasting menu. The tentacles are my favorite so I’m glad that they were included! 🙂

In a classic cake cone. Single $1.18
Sheridan’s Frozen Custard, Bartlett TN
This cone was super cute! I liked the chocolate flavor and the texture of the frozen custard. It was very hot outside so it started melting pretty quickly, lol!

Shelby Forest General Store, Millington TN
I needed this ice cream treat before heading on out a hike around Shelby Forest. It was a hot day and this was nice and cold. Yum!

Shallot aioli. $7
The Perennial, San Francisco CA
These were ok, but the service at the bar was really shitty! I don’t think I will ever come back to this place or even recommend it because the service was THAT bad. #fail

Eggs over medium, gouda grits, biscuit with a side of gravy. $8.95
Staks Pancake Kitchen, Memphis TN
This was a nice and simple breakfast, but pretty tasty. I loved the grits and the gravy was yummy too!
