This hot chicken was really great, and you could actually really taste and feel the heat! I didn’t mind the wait since it was actually kinda fun. The mac and cheese was also really gooey and awesome, NOMS!

Pale ale beer - Hattie B's Hot Chicken
Pale ale. I waited in line forever, but it was nice that you could go inside and get a beer to ease the wait, hehe! I actually met a great group of people in line and we just chatted the entire time. 🙂

Combo over rice plate – Halal Cart

Combo over rice plate - Halal Cart
Lamb gyro and chicken with basmati rice, pita, and salad. $10
Halal Cart, San Francisco CA

I still love this combo plate for lunch. It’s definitely on the heavy side especially with all the white sauce and if you eat all of it at once. The hot sauce has been inconsistent the few times I’ve gone though. It was really hot to start with, but now it’s been kinda on the mild side. I like it when it’s on the hotter side.

I kept hearing that the chicken here was really good, and I’ll have to agree. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and very flavorful. With a little bit of hot sauce splashed on, I couldn’t eaten a few additional pieces, hehe!

Tennessee bbq chicken flatbread – Lynchburg Legends Bar & Grill

Tennessee bbq chicken flatbread - Lynchburg Legends Bar & Grill
Cheddar-jack cheeses, bacon, red onions, chipotle ranch. $9.99
Lynchburg Legends Bar & Grill, Memphis TN

Hmm, this was really greasy but I liked the flavors enough. What I didn’t like was how SLOW the kitchen was. Other tables around us actually left because they had been waiting for their food way to long. The place wasn’t even busy. 😦

Wow, I heard good things about this place and I was glad to find out that it lived up to the hype! This chicken and rice was delicious. The chicken was so tender and juicy and the rice was great on its own. I loved the salted sauce and the chicken broth too. NOMS!
