Another delicious dish from Farley Bar. Almost made me forget about the bloody mary that the waitress dumped on me! The white wine sauce with tarragon was SO flavorful and delicous. The mussels were also very large, meaty, tender and juicy. Don’t know why they called the sliced bread “croutons” though. I was expecting something different.

When in Sonoma, it’s kind of a given that you’re gonna drink wine with dinner. I love my cocktails, but I enjoy wine too especially in this setting. These light reds paired really well with our Portuguese tapas!
Grapevine metal railing, Viansa Winery. I love the metalwork along the ramps at Viansa. I think it’s funny that David was taking a photo of me taking a photo, while I was doing the same. Hehe.
Fresh local dungeness crab sandwich – Farley Bar
Hobb’s bacon, avocado, roasted toamtoes, butter lettuce on ciabatta bread. Served with coal roasted onion dip and fresh cut gaufrette potatoes. $19

This sandwich was SO good! The crab was delicious and they weren’t skimpy with it either. And do I even have to say anything about the bacon – omg, loved it! This sandwich was also quite large so David and I had a hard time finishing it, but there was no way we were going to let it go to waste!
Don’t think that the waffle fries were a throw away either. They were absolutely delicious and perfectly fried. And that roasted onion dip – amazing! We were SO full that we unfortunately had to leave some of this on the plate, hehe.
Presidio Yacht Club, Horseshoe Bay. San Francisco Bay is so relaxing and beautiful especially facing The City.

This warm amuse bouche was so simple but really delicious! Who doesn’t enjoy a pre-dinner snack fresh from the kitchen? It was fatty, salty and yummy.

Brut rose & Sonoma brut late release – Gloria Ferrer Winery
2007 Brut Rose – “Vibrant flavors of wild strawberry, rosehips, and crisp blood orange character.” 92% Pinot Noir/ 8% Chardonnay. Equally delicious with shellfish, crab, roasted chicken, sushi, or Indian/Thai cuisine. $9
Sonoma Brut Late Release – “With five more years on the cork this wine has developed into a more mature flavor profile.” 87% Pinot Noir/ 13% Chardonnay. Floral notes of honeysuckle, baked apple delicate hazelnut and honey on the palate. Delicious with shellfish, roasted fowl or sushi, or pair with triple creme cheese and fruit compote. $6

Mmm, another delicious couple glasses of California sparkling wines! Very bright and fresh tasting. Be careful with the complimentary almonds though. They’ll make you keep going back for more wine, lol!
Gloria Ferrer patio. You order your sparkling wines and snacks at the inside counter, grab a table (preferrably on the patio), and they bring out your flutes as they’re ready. Very relaxing and easy.
Crispy squid – Farley Bar
Deep fried calamari with jalapenos, lime, aioli. $11

I have to say that calamari is one of my favorite appetizers ever! Who doesn’t love fried squid with aioli, right?! These were delicious and I loved the crispy batter and fried pepper slices. Everything was cooked perfectly and had a wonderful texture.
Long wooden patio table at Farley Bar. I really liked the outdoor seating at Farley Bar. The tables are really narrow so everyone faces one direction, towards the Bay with a great view of the Bridge.

Served with roasted almonds. I always love stopping by Gloria Ferrer whenever I visit Sonoma because their sparkling wines are delicious and perfectly priced. It always amazes me how differently these bubbly wines taste when sampling different ones consecutively.
View from the Gloria Ferrer patio looking towards Highway 121. This winery isn’t too far from the highway so the views aren’t amazing, but their patio is great to hang out in if you can get a seat! This place is very popular.
