On house baked ciabatta, served with shoe string French fries. 650 PHP Cozina, Boracay PHILIPPINES
We actually weren’t very full towards the end of our dinner since the portions were really small for most items, so we ordered this final item. It tasted pretty good, but the ciabatta bread was a little chewy perhaps undercooked? I don’t think I’d go back to this place.
Pastrami, choucroute au champagne, gruyere, Thousand Island dressing and greens grilled on a ciabatta. Half sandwich and soup $9 Savour, Seattle WA
Mmm, this was a great tasty lunch for under ten bucks! The pastrami reuben was delicious and the choucroute au champagne was a nice twist. The French onion soup was also yummy and perfect for the cold day.
Trotter croquettes, smoked beef tongue, house sausage, flat-iron, roasted garlic, salsa verde, grilled ciabatta. $25 Salt Kitchen and Tasting Bar, Honolulu HI
Mmm, this was heaven on a plate for a meat-lover like me! I think the smoked beef tongue was my favorite! It was SO tender and had a great texture and flavor, noms! The trotter croquettes were also really fun. I wish the pic would’ve come out better since this dish was so yummy.
“Brothers In Valor” Memorial, Fort DeRussy. Honoring World War II veterans.
Hobb’s bacon, avocado, roasted toamtoes, butter lettuce on ciabatta bread. Served with coal roasted onion dip and fresh cut gaufrette potatoes. $19 Farley Bar, Sausalito CA
This sandwich was SO good! The crab was delicious and they weren’t skimpy with it either. And do I even have to say anything about the bacon – omg, loved it! This sandwich was also quite large so David and I had a hard time finishing it, but there was no way we were going to let it go to waste!
Don’t think that the waffle fries were a throw away either. They were absolutely delicious and perfectly fried. And that roasted onion dip – amazing! We were SO full that we unfortunately had to leave some of this on the plate, hehe.
