Kid size scoop of pumpkin ice cream. I believe this is one of their seasonal flavors. It was very good – not too sweet but with a great pumpkin flavor! Noms! $2.50

Crispy chicken – Krua Thai
Crispy chicken sauteed with onions, bell peppers, jalapenos and sweet basil leaves in Krua’s special hot chili sauce. $12
Krua Thai, San Francisco
This was a delicious plate of food! I love the hot chili sauce that they use in this dish. It wasn’t very hot, but it had a nice sweetness to it that tasted great with the fried, breaded chicken. You get a great amount of food and the prices are decent! Krua Thai hasn’t been open that long and I’m glad we tried it. It’s great tasting comfort Thai food!
Combination seafood mild yellow curry – Krua Thai

Prawns, calamari and scallops in a yellow curry with coconut milk, potatoes, bell peppers, onions and peanuts. $14
Krua Thai, San Francisco
I didn’t try this dish, but I’m sure it was delicious! The only complaint at the table was that there wasn’t a lot of seafood in the curry, only a couple pieces of each kind. So that’s kinda lame.
Krua’s zesty beef – Krua Thai
Marinated beef lightly sauteed with onions, mushrooms, bell peppers, and jalapenos in a hot chili sauce. $12
Krua Thai, San Francisco
Another great dish from Krua Thai! This dish was packed with lots of flavor. The sauce was delicious and the beef was nice and tender. I love that all the vegetables and even the beef are cut into large, hearty pieces. Definitely use the rice to soak up all that delicious sauce!
Colored duck – Krua Thai
Crispy boneless duck with snow peas, pineapples, bell peppers, carrots and basil leaves sauteed in red coconut curry. $15
Krua Thai, San Francisco
Fried duck in a yummy curry – how can you go wrong?! I love when the cut the carrots with the scalloped edges. It makes for a more interested presentation.
Fried shumai – Krua Thai
Dumplings filled with smoothly minced prawns and spices. Served with seasoned soy sauce. Krua appetizer sampler, $11
Krua Thai, San Francisco
Nice and shrimpy fried dumplings, noms! I’ve decided that I’m no longer a fan of the large pork siu mai that you get for dim sum. These, however, were delicious! 🙂
Gold bags & crispy egg rolls – Krua Thai
Golden fried bags filled with chicken, shrimp, chestnut, corn and vermicelli noodles. Thai-style vegetable egg rolls served with sweet and sour sauce. Krua appetizer sampler, $11
Krua Thai, San Francisco
The gold bags were so cute! Alan told me that they tie them closed with vermicelli noodles and they shrivel up once they’re deep fried. Ingenious! This is pretty much the same appetizer served two different ways – in bags and in rolls. They were both very tasty!
Curry samosas – Krua Thai
Filled with minced chicken, corn, onions, potatoes, and yellow curry powder coated with wheat flour. Served with sweet and sour sauce. Krua appetizer sampler, $11
Krua Thai, San Francisco
These didn’t have a very strong curry flavor which was a little disappointing, but I loved the texture of them. I wish the appetizer sampler came with more than just two samosas! I know, I’m a pig. Hehe!
Singha beer. $5
Classic Philly cheesesteak – Phat Philly
Regular 7″ cheesesteak made with Masami Farms American kobe beef with fried onions, white American cheese, and hot peppers on an Amoroso roll. $6.95
Phat Philly, San Francisco
I love the cheesesteaks at Phat Philly. They use amazing ingredients and even ship the Amoroso rolls from Philadelphia! Now that’s the way to make a cheesesteak! The beef is so tender and perfectly seasoned. They have a toppings bar so I always add some hot peppers to my sandwich. They add a little bite and extra flavor. Noms!
Cheddar beer fries – Phat Philly
Half order of criss-cut waffle fries topped with Phat Philly’s Famous Cheddar Beer Sauce made with Newcastle Beer. $3
Phat Philly, San Francisco
Phat Philly is a guilty pleasure of mine. I pass by the place every day on way to Bart and it tempts me every time. I love these fries! The waffle fries are great by themselves, but the cheddar beer sauce puts it over the top! So good!
Italian sub – Luigi’s Sandwich Palace
1/2 sandwich with mortadella, salami, provolone cheese, sundried tomatoes, lettuce, garlic, and pepperocinis on a wheat bun. 1/2 sandwich 1/2 soup combo, $5.95
Luigi’s Sandwich Palace, South San Francisco
Omg, for 1/2 a sandwich this was HUGE and tasty! I loved the combination of mortadella, salami and provolone. The sundried tomatoes and pepperocinis added lots of flavor. I wasn’t blown away by this sandwich but it was simple and delicious. Can’t complain about that!
