Organic soft serve ice cream. $5
Twirl and Dip, San Francisco CA
I loved the silky texture of this soft serve! I couldn’t decide between vanilla and chocolate so of course I opted for the “twirl”! Noms!

Saba with almond biscotti. Complimentary
Barzotto, San Francisco CA
We were served these for free one night after our meal. It was really tasty and it was sweet of them to share. That’s why I love coming to this place. It’s so laid back, but the service is wonderful!
Double scoop $5.45
COWS, Niagara on the Lake CANADA
I loved all the cow-themed ice cream flavors at this creamery. They were just really fun and creative. The ice cream also had a nice firm and creamy texture. Mmm…
Cream puff with sugar cookie topping, filled with vanilla custard. $2.50
Beard Papa’s, San Francisco CA
Mmm, how I love Beard Papa’s cream puffs! I hadn’t seen this variety before so I decided to try it. The cookie crumble on top was actually really good, but these puffs are plenty good without them too.
Fort Funston with Sutro Tower in the distance.
Vanilla and chocolate cake with buttercream frosting, and seasonal maple flavor.
Cupcake Royale, Seattle WA
These little babycakes are cute, but they’re definitely not as good as their normal sized cupcakes. While the flavors were there, they were kinda dry and lifeless. I bought these for my niece’s birthday and the kids seemed to enjoy them nevertheless.
Vanilla and cookies ‘n cream ice cream, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, Ferrero Rocher hazelnut chocolates, cherry. 185 PHP
Chocolate Spoon by Icebergs, Manila PHILIPPINES
After a long day exploring Robinsons Place Manila, we needed a little treat to keep us going. This sundae did just the trick. I don’t think the ice cream was all that great, but I liked the overall flavor of the sundae.
Relief map of the Philippines, Rizal Park.
With vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. Per person dinner $20
Hutch Bar & Kitchen, Oakland CA
Ok, this tart was TINY, but I really didn’t mind after that gigantic fried chicken dinner. It still tasted great and the ice cream was an added bonus. Mmm…
Manhattan on the rocks.
Banana, walnut, vanilla ice cream. Pre fixe menu
Mozzeria, San Francisco CA
Mmm, this was pretty good and I’m not even into really sweet desserts. The brownie was moist and not super sweet as brownies go, thank goodness. I also liked that they bruleed the bananas individually. A great way to finish off a less than stellar meal. 🙂
Coast live oak (Quercus agrifolia, Fagaceae), Bon Tempe Lake.
Bourbon caramel sauce, vanilla ice cream, candied pecans. $9
Town Hall, San Francisco CA
Mmm, this dessert was very tasty and the peaches were great. The sticky bun was a bit too caramelized on the bottom and hard to cut through, but all the flavors were there and the vanilla ice cream helped to soften up everything.
View of Twin Peaks from Noe Valley.
Meringue, creme anglaise (vanilla custard), toasted almonds, caramel sauce, strawberry and mint garnish. Daily 3-course prix fixe $14.50
Alamo Square Seafood Grill, San Francisco CA
This was a very simple, light and elegant dish and it tasted really good! I don’t think I’ve ever had this before but I can see that it’s a great cost effective way to put out a delicious dessert. You really need the toasted almonds and caramel sauce to elevate it though. Noms!
‘Burgundy Bliss’ oxalis (Oxalidaceae), Noe Valley.
Sweet white corn bread, Howard McGinnis Ranch fresh berries, homemade ice cream. 10-course chef’s tasting menu $75
Roxy’s Cafe, San Francisco CA
This dessert was very tasty and I liked that it wasn’t super sweet. The warm cheese arepa was delicious and slightly savory which was a great contrast to the sweet berries and ice cream. I also loved the colors on the plate.
Robert Emmet statue, California Academy of Sciences.
Was this novelty dessert worth five bucks? I have to say no. The vanilla ice cream was already melted, and the mealworms were super dry and burnt tasting (I don’t think I tasted any toffee). I didn’t like the powdery/crumbly texture in my mouth. I’m glad I tried it, but it didn’t deliver on flavor and texture. $5
Don Bugito, SF Street Food Festival 2013, San Francisco CA
California Palace of the Legion of Honor. One of my favorite museums in San Francisco!
