Each $3
La Fonda, San Francisco CA
These tacos were pretty tasty, and I love the salsa that they put on top. They were pretty filling for only three bucks a pop!

Variat de tapes €15
El Berro, Barcelona SPAIN
Meh. These wings weren’t very good, but we got a whole lot of food for the “assorted tapas for 2” option.

Fried bacalao and Spanish tortilla. Each €1.50
Taktika Berri, Barcelona SPAIN
This might have been a couple of my favorite tapas at Taktika Berri. The fish was SO tender and juicy, and the tortilla was super soft and flavorful. Noms!

With steamed broccoli and chap chae (Korean style glass noodles), kimchi. $9.95
Sorabol, San Francisco CA
I did it again! I caved into my cravings and went to the mall food court for some Sorabol, lol! It always hits the spot though. 🙂

Mejillones al vapor. €7.50
Bosque Palermo, Barcelona SPAIN
These mussels were dry and bland, so in other words, they really sucked (kinda like the service at Bosque Palermo). I guess you could say that this dish says it all…

Pans & Company, Barcelona SPAIN
This doughnut looked WAY better than it tasted. It actually tasted like cardboard. I was SO disappointed and kinda grossed out. Ew!

Slow rotisserie roasted pork with house made onion marmalade, fresh arugula, herbed sea salt and served on an Acme Bakery roll. $10.50
Roli Roti Gourmet Rotisserie, San Francisco CA
They’ve upped the price of this sandwich once again, but I still think it’s a great deal since it’s SO delicious and quite filling. This is still one of my favorite cheat lunches during the work week.
7×7 Magazine’s The Big Eat San Francisco: 100 Things to Eat + Drink Before You Die

Sorbet de citron avec cava. Menu of the day €16.50
El Rincon de Pepe, Sitges SPAIN
This was a refreshing finale to a wonderful lunchtime meal on the Sitges beachfront. It was light and airy, and perfect for the warm weather.

With duck foie gras and mustard vinaigrette. €9
Paco Meralgo, Barcelona SPAIN
Mmm, this dish was SO good! The veal was sliced paper thin and it was so tasty along with the shaved foie gras and nutty cheese. I could eat this for days!

Chorizo, fried avocado, adobo chicken, taco de hongos, and beer-marinated steak. On organic corn tortilla, onion, cilantro relish, lime, and roasted tomatillo salsa. Taco Wednesday, each $2
The Castro Republic, San Francisco CA
I miss Taco Wednesdays at The Castro Republic! The tacos were so cheap, and yet they were of good quality and variety. Alas, I’ve moved to a neighborhood further away and have changed gyms. 😦

Snails.
Bar el David del Ninot, Barcelona SPAIN
Sorry! I forgot to take a pic until after eating these, lol! I loved the flavor of these snails. They were slightly pungent, but the stewy sauce that they were in was delicious and rich enough to stand up to the snail flavor.

Scallops and morcilla sausage. Each €1.50
Taktika Berri, Barcelona SPAIN
I thought that the scallop was pretty small and dry, but the blood sausage was delicious! It was succulent and had a wonderful flavor. Mmm…
