Hmm, I wasn’t a fan of these. They were larger than I like, and they just weren’t cold enough. They also could have been shucked more neatly. There were quite few bits of broken shells in some of them.

Yes, this was small but I wasn’t expecting much for a discounted happy hour dish. It thought it tasted good though. I wish there was a little more crab and rock shrimp, but they definitely still came through.

Ugh, I swear that their pad thai gets worse each time I visit! It has become more dry and bland. That catfish was ok, but you it’s harder to mess up fried food covered in sauce. The sauce wasn’t spicy at all though.

Apparently, the location on Capitol Hill has closed since I was last in DC. I’m surprised since it was always busy. The space was kinda odd, and filled with an eclectic cross-section of people. I only had this croissant, but I enjoyed it. It was super flaky and buttery.

This looks bland, AND it tasted bland! There was no flavor to this pad thai at all – sheesh! I’m used to Thai food that actually has flavor. This was probably one of the worst pad thai I’ve ever had. 😦

Hmm, I didn’t like this very much. I think the flavors were fine, but the pastry was limp and lifeless. The dough and filling were both soft so it almost ate like mush. Perhaps it was an old pastry that had been sitting around a while?

This corn bread was delicious! I’m amazed how tall and thick it was and it was still cooked evenly. It was packed with so much flavor and it tasted even better with more butter and dipped in a bit of honey. Mmm…

Mmm, this crab cakes was SO delicious! It was mostly crab with very little filler, and it was fried perfectly. It was very moist and not greasy. I could have done without the potato chips (maybe that’s a local thing).

I learned my lesson last time and got the regular spicy sauce instead of the super spicy sauce this time around. I like this place even though it’s not the best Korean food. It’s a nice break from all the lunchtime sandwiches and salads in the FiDi.
