Olive tapenade bruschetta. €4
La Biga, Rome ITALY
I liked this. The texture and flavor of the olive tapenade was good, and it was a good portion. We were able to sit outside, and the view of the Colosseum was absolutely beautiful!

Deep fried boneless chicken breasts, cole slaw, mashed potatoes, and country gravy. $13.95
Harvey’s, San Francisco CA
I actually thought that this was good (which is surprising because I’m not a fan of Harvey’s). The chicken was moist, tasty, and not greasy. And the mashed potatoes were good. I thought the coleslaw was just mediocre, but I was surprised that I liked everything else quite a lot!

Dipped in milk chocolate.
Frigidarium, Rome ITALY
Omg, I am in love with this gelateria! The gelato is SO delicious and I love that you can get it dipped with a cookie on top! SO good!!!

Grandmother’s traditional meat balls. €12
Trattoria Sora Lella, Rome ITALY
These meatballs were SO delicious! They were large, tender, juicy and full of flavor. The tomato sauce was also pretty tasty!

House red wine.

With orange juice and coffee.
Residenza Gens Julia, Rome ITALY
I really liked this place! It was centrally located and the accommodations were wonderful. All the staff were super friendly, much made out stay very enjoyable. They also had a selection of pastries for breakfast. We usually just grabbed-and-go because we wanted to get out to see the sites.

Pastrami with Swiss cheese and zesty sauerkraut, grilled on rye bread, and served with cottage potatoes. $15.75
Sherman’s Deli and Bakery, Palm Springs CA
I will eventually try every sandwich on Sherman’s menu! Well, I doubt that will actually happen but I can sure try. These sandwiches are definitely two meals worth of food. Noms!

Assorted grilled vegetables. €10
Napoletano’s Pantheon, Rome ITALY
This was probably the healthiest thing we’ve eaten in a while during this trip, lol! But it was much need and actually pretty tasty. And the setting in front of the Pantheon was simply amazing!

House red wine.

Tomato, mozzarella, mushroom. Whole €10.50
Magnolia, Rome ITALY
I liked this place. The service was great and this pizza was pretty good too. We weren’t super hungry so they were kind enough to let us have two different flavors on a whole pizza.

Red wine.

Selection of four meats served with marinated olives. €16
Nessun Dorma, Manarola ITALY
This charcuterie board was pretty epic! There was SO much meat, and all of them were very tasty. If only my stomach was bottomless, hehe!

Ginger mignonette. Each $3
Mister Jiu’s, San Francisco CA
These oyster were lovely – small, clean, and delicious. I just wish there were more of them, but sadly I can’t always afford what my stomach wants. LOL!

Moka Cafe, Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport (GOA)
I didn’t like this very much. It was cold, soggy, limp, and super oily. Usually I like anything with olives on it, but this wasn’t my favorite. 😦

Prosecco, red wine, potato chips, cookies, and cracker mix.
Bar Via dell’ Amore, Manarola ITALY
The view from this cliff-side bar was simply amazing! It looked down into the Liguran Sea. It was a great place to sit down, relax, and enjoy this afternoon snack.
