Small Soooo good coffee. $3
Philz Coffee, San Francisco CA

Ok, I need to stop eating Pepples donuts because there’s just way too much glaze and it hurts my teeth to bite through them. But I will never stop drinking Philz coffee – it’s like crack!

This place is now serving full on lunches and dinners and even have a happy hour with discounted beer and wine. I haven’t made it for an entire meal, but I’m glad that this cafe is on my way to Bart so I can always duck in for a yummy snack to go. This mini pear tart was tasty! $3.75

Pepples donuts are cakey and pretty much covered in glaze. While I enjoy that they’re vegan and organic, that thick sweet sugary glaze was just too much! Philz coffee is still my favorite. I swear there’s crack in it or something, lol!

Banana and honey yogurt parfait – Starbucks

Banana and honey yogurt parfait - Starbucks

Creamy yogurt with banana, honey and toasted granola. $4.99
Starbucks, Palm Springs International Airport (PSP)

This is definitely one of those things that makes way more fiscal sense to make at home, but I was starving after my flight so I had to get it, hehe! With full sugar and full fat, yes, it was yummy. 🙂

Kouign amann – Four Barrel Coffee

Kouign amann - Four Barrel Coffee
Breton cake with layers of butter and sugar. $4
Four Barrel Coffee, San Francisco CA

This was a delicious, buttery treat! I don’t think I would normally order this because it looks kinda boring in a display case, but it’s absolutely exquisite. This flaky pastry is surprisingly complex from the multiple layers and condensed form. Loved it!

This is a perfect waffle, noms! The outside has a slight crispness while the center remains fluffy, and it tastes amazing. Pair it with some espresso and you’ll have an amazing morning!

Espresso shot topped with a little cream served in a Libbey 4.5 oz Gibraltar rocks glass. $3
Blue Bottle Cafe, San Francisco CA

I’ve heard this described as a super-short latte, or something between a macchiato and a cappuccino. In any case, it’s absolutely delicious. And it “loves” me! I’m always appreciative of the milk art, hehe.

This was my favorite of three bars I tried because it was the least sweet! It had a great chocolate and chilli flavor and I enjoyed the dense, fudgey texture.

St. Paul's Cathedral, Statue of Saint Paul

St. Paul’s Cathedral, Statue of Saint Paul. We approached the cathedral from the back side where it’s actually green and quaint as opposed to the stark, cement area in front of it. We walked inside for a little bit and it’s absolutely beautiful! The stained glass windows and large organs are amazing!

Starbucks, London ENGLAND

It’s a little bit odd that Starbucks in England charges you more if you’re going to eat the food in store. I guess we’re just not used to that in the States. It’s usually built into the price already. This bar was, again, super sweet! Probably my least favorite of the bars I tried.

London Eye, Millennium Wheel, River Thames
London Eye, Millennium Wheel, River Thames. This is the tallest Ferris wheel in Europe and the tallest structure in London. It’s a bit of an eyesore but I think it’s pretty cool anyway. I snapped this pic from the Hungerford Bridge and you can see the Palace of Westminster on the right bank of the river.

Salted caramel pecan bar petite – Starbucks

Salted caramel, pecan and biscuit filling on a chewy biscuit base topped with milk Belgian chocolate and pecan pieces. Contains nuts, vegetarian. 248 calories, 4.1 g sat fat. Buy 3 or more, Eat in £1.20 each
Starbucks, London ENGLAND

We don’t have these petite bars available at U.S. Starbucks which is totally lame! The Starbucks in Europe have such better pastries, desserts, and food in general than those in the States. This was a little sweet for my taste but definitely delicious. I can’t believe they can pack almost 250 calories into this tiny morsel!
