Yummy Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
I loved the shape of this bun with it’s two coiled lobes. It had the perfect combination of salty and sweet.

With pork, bean curd, mushroom, bamboo shoots, and eggflower.
Hunan Home’s Restaurant, San Francisco CA
This soup had a particularly dark and soy sauce-y broth, but it wasn’t any more salty than other hot and sour soups. I liked the amount of ingredients in it, they weren’t skimpy.

Bell peppers, onion, black fungus, bamboo shoot. $11.95
New Ming’s Restaurant, San Francisco CA
This tasted fine, but it was SO oily and greasy. I can only how much of the oil was soaked up by the eggplant. I feel sick just think about it. And it was a bit overpriced for lunch item in this area.

Vermont cheddar mornay. $9
Absinthe, San Francisco CA
Omg, these are SO delicious! They are warm, soft, salty, and wonderful dipped into the cheddar mornay sauce. I could eat an entire plate of these as a meal. Noms!
7×7 Magazine’s Big Eat SF: 100 Things to Try Before You Die

Sparkling wine.

With country sausage gravy, eggs over medium, served with buttermilk biscuits and gravy. $13.75
Orphan Andy’s, San Francisco CA
Omg, I went over the top on this particular night! I guess I thought my usual chicken fried steak late night meal wasn’t enough so I ordered the option that comes with a side of biscuits and gravy, LOL! And this, again, is why I go to the gym. 🙂

Beef, provolone with mushrooms, onions and bell peppers, topped with peppers. $9.25
Phat Philly, San Francisco CA
Phat Philly is such a guilty pleasure of mine. It’s big and greasy, and ultimately super delicious. I always add their pickled pepper for a little kick. Noms!

Guinness stout glaze, bacon, cheddar cheese, crispy fried onions, lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickle. Served with homestyle fries. $14
Bennigan’s, Santa Clara CA
This burger was large, messy, and pretty tasty! I enjoyed the Guinness stout glazed and was happy that it came with an extra side of it. I thought the fried onions were too greasy and soggy, but they tasted decent enough. The thick cut fries were also yummy. I thought the patty was overcooked though and it was on the dry side.

Chicken breast in masala sauce, served with basmati rice. $9
Cello Kebob & Pizza, San Francisco CA
I thought this tasted good, but there really wasn’t much chicken at all. Such a disappointment. I would have preferred getting thigh meat if they would serve a larger portion of it. I liked the slight spice in the masala sauce though.

Thinly sliced ribeye, Ike’s yellow bbq sauce, light habanero salsa, pepper jack cheese, American cheese, banana peppers, pickles, and onions on French bread. $12.21
Ike’s Place, San Francisco CA
I usually love sandwiches that are stuffed with A LOT of meat (because I’m a pig), but I can honestly say that I still like Ike’s sandwiches that overdo the meat filling. It’s actually a nice balance of protein, bread, veggies, and sauces. Ok, maybe they overdo the sauces but that’s just how I like it! 🙂

“Little wind pipes”, Liberty Farm duck ragu, foie gras, quince agrodolce. $21
Perbacco, San Francisco CA
Omg, this plate of pasta was delicious! I guess you can’t go wrong with pasta at Perbacco (although my friend did not enjoy his risotto). The garganelli were cooked perfectly and they were really fun to eat. Between the duck ragu and foie gras, the sauce was particularly wonderful. Noms!

Chard, Amelia’s potatoes, shiitake mushrooms. $29
Artisan, Paso Robles CA
I actually don’t remember this dish, lol! I’m not saying it wasn’t good or memorable. I think that after a long day of wine tasting, my dinner got away from me. 🙂

Topped with steamed vegetables and nori. $9.20
Osho Japanese Cuisine, San Francisco International Airport (SFO)
This tasted fine (although on the salty side), but there just wasn’t enough food to satisfy me. The bowl is fairly small and there was enough pork to make for a decent meal. Even the 3 pieces of vegetables looked sad.
