Scrambled eggs topped with diced ham, red bell peppers, cheese and scallions. Sausage and breakfast potatoes. Complimentary
Hilton Santa Clara, Cupertino CA
This breakfast wasn’t very good. And the lounge was full of loud and obnoxious kids. Ugh!

Served with garlic fried rice. 2-item combo $11.29
Inay Filipino Kitchen, San Francisco CA
Ugh, Filipino food is so delicious and comforting! This is one of my guilty lunch pleasures since it’s not the healthiest food for you. It certainly tastes great though, hehe!

With basil. $10
Tao Yin Restaurant, San Francisco CA
This dish was super oily, and the quality of the beef was very poor. Ugh, why do I order this crap?!

English peas, radish, sour dough croutons, charred spring garlic vinaigrette. $13
Hamlet, San Francisco CA
I liked this salad. It was simple but tasty. The sourdough croutons were especially fun. I thought they could have given a bit more burrata though. There was only a few chunks of it thrown in there.

Berryessa ‘La Fuerza Borracho’ lager, CA. $6

Chicken tikka masala, kofta curry, aloo mutter, spinach with lentils, rice. $12
Curry Boyzz, San Francisco CA
I finally discovered that this place has a cheap dinner buffet! Sure, they don’t have an extensive selection of dishes for the buffet, but I liked everything and try not to over-eat anyway. This will be a great, new option whenever I’m craving affordable Indian after the gym.

Prather Ranch ground beef, cheddar, onions and spinach, potatoes. $13
Starbelly, San Francisco CA
This dish was gross and totally unsatisfying! The was a wet, gooey mess under all that cheese and the dish was surprisingly bland. The only decent part were the potatoes.

Part of Spencer’s Hot Appetizer Sampler $25
Spencer’s Restaurant, Palm Springs CA
This entire appetizer sampler was a disaster. Even these calamari were over-fried, rock hard, and ready to cut the roof of your mouth. Everything was also SO salty! #fail

Red wine.

3 pieces rosemary-lemon brined fried chicken with herb crust. Served with buttermilk biscuit, honey butter, and spicy slaw. $12.75
Proposition Chicken, San Francisco CA
I thought the fried chicken tasted great, but it was definitely on the greasy side. I really liked the crumbly biscuit though when doused with additional honey.

Pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeno. $4
Nizario’s Pizza, San Francisco CA
This is a slight variation from my favorite Hawaiian slice, but the extra fat from the pepperoni and heat from the jalapeno were great. Noms!

Pumpkin semifreddo. NYE tasting menu $175
Californios, San Francisco CA

1/3 pound burger topped with bacon, balsamic caramelized onions, and Swiss cheese. Served with sweet potato fries. $13.95
Lori’s Diner, San Francisco CA
This burger was a mess, and not in a good way. They definitely over-stuff this burger and the flimsy bun just can’t handle it so the burger quickly disintegrates. It’s not fun to have to eat a burger with a fork. #fail

Provolone, caramelized onions, arugula, with pickle. $9.25
Acre Coffee, San Francisco CA
This sandwich tasted great. I liked the bread that they used and the caramelized onions really put the sandwich over the top. I was skeptical at the smaller size of it, but it ended up being pretty filling.
