$1.50
Arizmendi Bakery, San Francisco CA
The bread products from Arizmendi are amazing when they’re warm and fresh out of the oven. This focaccia was already cold, so it was a bit hard and lacked the usually buttery flavor I’m used to.

Patty ground with pastrami, Tillamook cheddar, Russian dressing, lettuce, onions, and relish on a sesame seed bun. $11
Wise Sons Jewish Delicatessen, San Francisco CA
This burger was unexpectedly delicious coming from a Jewish deli! The patty with pastrami was different and tasty, and all the ingredients just worked so well together. Mmm…

Local endive, caramelized peach, salted almond, feta cheese. $15
54 Mint, San Francisco CA
This endive salad was very good. I love the bitterness of the crispy endive combined with all the other flavors and textures. A simple classic!

With dungeness crab and shrimp. $24.75
Sinbad’s Pier 2 Restaurant, San Francisco CA
This salad was simple (and expensive), but they certainly didn’t skimp on the crab and shrimp. They could have improved the presentation though.

Spicy yasai miso tare, corn, garlic butter, pork belly, soy-cured egg. $14
The Ramen Bar, San Francisco CA
This broth was SUPER salty! Omg, I almost couldn’t finish it because of the high salt level. I liked the overall flavors though and the ramen noodles were nicely firm. The egg was beautifully cooked, and the pork belly was delicious.

Served with rice and side salad. $11.95
Katana-Ya, San Francisco CA
The pork katsu was pretty tasty (on the verge of being over-fried perhaps), but I thought there would be more curry. The restaurant is really shady though.

Sautéed shrimp, ground chicken, calamari, tofu, dried shrimp and onions, bean sprouts, and black mushrooms in a sweet black sot sauce, served over steamed flat noodles. $10
King of Thai Noodle House, San Francisco CA
Mmm, this was delicious! I loved all the proteins and the sauce was super tasty. This dish was definitely greasy but it certainly packed a lot of flavor!

Posh Bagel, San Francisco CA

This wasn’t very good. The maple frosting was sickeningly sweet and the cronot was dry and tasted very artificial. Yuck!

Bowl $9.75
Sinbad’s Pier 2 Restaurant, San Francisco CA
This was decent, but not very memorable. It had a nice creamy texture but there was nothing special about it to set it apart from other clam chowders in the city.

Wild fried cod, chipotle salsa ($4.50). Braised beef tongue with tomatillo salsa ($3.50). Served with side of black beans with queso fresco.
Uno Dos Tacos, San Francisco CA
Tacos for lunch always makes for a yummy lunch! I think the fish tacos are still my favorite, but their lengua is a close second.

Topped with Kewpie mayo, bonito flakes, scallions. $6.95
Katana-Ya, San Francisco CA
I actually really liked these. They tasted wonderful and had a pleasant aroma. Unfortunately, this restaurant is dishonest so I can’t support Katanaya.

Topped with sesame seeds, almond, and parsley. 6 pieces $8.25
Kokio Republic, San Francisco CA
Ugh, I’m in love with Kokio chicken wings. They’re one of the stickiest, tastiest wings I’ve had in a while. And they’re cooked in a food truck even! Mmm…
