Biscuit, shaved country ham, 2 fried eggs, sausage gravy. $10
Biscuit Love, Nashville TN
This eggs benedict wasn’t much to look at, but I liked it enough. I especially liked the country ham and gravy. I’m not sure that the biscuit was my favorite. It had a texture of an undercooked one.

A bed of sour cream and home fries, topped with sautéed portobellos, tomatoes green onions, with bacon, feta and cheddar cheese. Served with grits, biscuit, and honey. $12.95
Brother Juniper’s, Memphis TN
Omg, there was SO much food on this plate! I couldn’t begin to finish everything especially since it was a pretty heavy breakfast. The omelet was really tasty though and I loved the creamy grits. Noms!

Eggs over medium, sausage patties, grits, biscuits and gravy. $8.59
Blue Plate Cafe, Memphis TN
Omg, food in Memphis is definitely cheaper than in San Francisco. This was SO much food for less than nine bucks. It definitely isn’t the healthiest food – I mean the give you extra butter for the grits AND the biscuits and gravy, lol! It’s definitely flavorful though.

Fried egg, thick cut bacon, garlic aioli, lettuce, bruleed tomatoes, truffled oil. Served with duck fat fried three potato hash. $11.75
Railgarten Diner, Memphis TN
This sandwich was really good and I loved the truffle oil. The best part though was the duck fat potato hash! Omg, it was SO tasty!

Watermelon mimosa. This mimosa was sickeningly sweet and I couldn’t even begin to finish it. Thank goodness that the server was kind enough to not charge me for it. Yay!

Two farm eggs, roasted and grilled sweet potato hash, seasoned black and kidney beans, seasonal garlic greens, quinoa, brown rice, serrano avocado spread. $9
City Silo Table + Pantry, Memphis TN
Hmm, this was kinda too healthy for me. I needed more fat and flavor in this dish to truly enjoy it. I’m guess I’m just a horrible eater and don’t enjoy super healthy dishes. 😦

Smoked foie gras, foie scrambled eggs, croissant, bottarga, maple. 5 course tasting menu $85
Le Pigeon, Portland OR
Omg, this was SO good! I wish it was a little lighter (there was foie everywhere!) or had another fresh ingredient, but honestly I didn’t mind too much. I just felt guilty eating all of it, hehe.

Cocktail and rose wine.

Two eggs over medium, hashbrowns, wheat toast. $11.59
Island Cafe, Oak Harbor WA
Hmm, this corned beef hash tasted weird. Perhaps there was too much vinegar or something, but it also had a weird reddish purple color. Not my favorite. At least the wheat toast was decent.

Kizami nori, scallion, bamboo, fried noodles. $4
The Ramen Bar, San Francisco CA
These deviled eggs were a special for the day, so I had to get them. They were actually pretty tasty, and I loved the seaweed and Japanese flavors. Yum!

Two eggs scrambled, hashbrowns, toast. $12.59
Island Cafe, Oak Harbor WA
This was ok. I liked the country fried steak, but the gravy wasn’t my favorite. It tasted too much of flour. The scrambled eggs tasted good though.

Arugula, gruyere, Oscietra caviar. $15
The Restaurant at JUSTIN, Paso Robles CA
This was really good omelet! Maybe a bit too greasy with all the dripping butter, but it tasted great if you drained the butter to one side, I loved the simple arugula salad on the side too.

Salsa roja, rancho gordo beans, creme fraiche, sunny side up eggs, goat feta. $22
The Restaurant at JUSTIN, Paso Robles CA
I thought that the pork was great and tasty, but there really weren’t enough tortilla chips to make this a substantial chilaquiles. It was pretty to look out though and the eggs definitely made for good yolk porn. 🙂
