Blue Dane radish – Al’s Place

Blue Dane radish - Al's Place
Preserved meyer lemon butter, salt. Family style menu, $60 per person
Al’s Place, San Francisco CA

I was a bit surprised when this first snack came out, and I had to giggle a bit. I don’t think I’ve ever been served fresh, whole radishes as a dish before. I felt like a rabbit or something, lol! I guess it was good and the butter tasted great, but I guess I expected some type of preparation beside washing the radishes and placing them on a plate. 🙂

Rotisserie chicken meal – Goood Frikin’ Chicken

Rotisserie chicken meal - Goood Frikin' Chicken
Zesty garlic lemon summak marinade cooked in rotisserie oven, served with side salad, pita and grilled veggies. $13.50
Goood Frikin’ Chicken, San Francisco CA

I really like their marinade at GFC. It’s got so much flavor and the chicken is always moist and juicy. I’m less in love with their salad dressing. It’s a bit too tart for my taste.

Side salad - Goood Frikin' Chicken
Side salad.

Everything bagel with cream cheese – Wise Sons Jewish Delicatessen

Everything bagel with cream cheese - Wise Sons Jewish Delicatessen
$3.50
Wise Sons Jewish Delicatessen, San Francisco CA

This bagel was unlike any other bagel I’ve had in San Francisco. I don’t know, I’m not a New York bagel expert, but some people find Wise Sons bagel comparable to their precious NYC bagels. My opinion is that this bagel was very good. I loved the plentiful amount of seeds that created a thick crunchy, crusty layer on the outside. The interior wasn’t doughy or dense like some other bagels I’ve had that I didn’t like. For me, this bagel was a winner!
