Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
I liked these muffins. They weren’t as sweet as others and I liked that they were on the dense side and very flavorful.

Grilled chicken, green beans, mixed greens. $10.29
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
This seasonal salad was good. I liked the beets and blue cheese with the greens beans, a combination they normally don’t offer.

This kouign amann had a different texture than others that I’m used to. It was as flaky and crisp. Perhaps it had more glaze that soaked into the flaky layers. I liked it though.
Bacon, scrambled eggs, shredded cheese, maple syrup. $10.39
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
This was good, but I wish that the bacon was a little crispier. It’s hard to chew through limp, soggy bacon when biting into a large waffle filled with a lot of stuff.
English muffin with scrambled eggs, ham, cheese, lettuce, ranch. $9.99
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
You can’t tell from this pic, but this sandwich was pretty large. It was hot, messy and delicious. Certainly a great way to start the day with a filling meal.
All natural chicken breast, applewood smoked bacon, Swiss cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, mayo, toasted sliced sourdough. $8.99
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
I don’t usually order club sandwiches because they can be boring and bland. This was good. The chicken was fairly tender, but the sandwich was a bit dry overall. Maybe it could have used more mayo or something.
Macadamia nuts, fresh coconut and chocolate chips. $2.19
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
This cookies was very tasty and it was soft too. I loved the combination of macadamia, coconut AND chocolate.
Chiffonade Tuscan kale and romaine lettuce, all natural diced chicken, grated Parmesan cheese, creamy Caesar dressing with sourdough garlic crisps. $8.59
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
My favorite part of the salads at Boudin are the sourdough garlic crisps – kinda fitting. 🙂 The addition of kale to this caesar was a nice change of pace.
All natural chicken, red onion, tomatoes, pesto sauce, cheese. $7.99
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
This was pretty good! I would have love a bit more chicken, but it was pretty balanced as is.

I was pleasantly surprised by this pizza. The sourdough crust was delicious and the toppings were pretty good. This certainly doesn’t compare to an artisan pizza around SF, but it’s a great quick lunch pizza at a great price.
Ham, red peppers, green peppers, red onion, cheddar cheese, egg. Served in a sourdough bread bowl. $6.29
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
This was disgusting! Everything was really dry and all the textures were off. The eggs were on the verge of being hard and inedible and the other ingredients were just sad. This was a lame meal I can never get back!
Newsies, Orpheum Theatre.
Soba noodles, tuscan kale, mixed greens, sliced cucumber, diced red bell pepper, fresh oranges, cilantro, sweet asian chili glaze, sesame seeds, sesame ginger vinaigrette dressing. $10.29
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
Ugh, I did NOT like this salad. There was more soba noodles than kale, and the salmon was gross! It was definitely delivered frozen and it had a disgusting squishy texture with a slimy glaze. Yuck!
