The Hot Wes – WesBurger ‘N’ More

The Hot Wes - WesBurger 'N' More
6 oz patty with onion rings, queso, and pickled jalapenos. Served with tater tots during lunch. $11
WesBurger ‘N’ More, San Francisco CA

Um, this burger was frickin’ awesome! I loved all the toppings and the beef patty was so juicy and flavorful. The tots were also great I loved their dipping sauce options. Noms – must remember to come back!

Tacos – Reservoir

Tacos - Reservoir
Chicken verde: cotija cheese, avocado, serrano tomatiilo sauce, cilantro. Korean bbq style: kimchi carrot slaw, avocado, cilantro, gochujang crema. Two for $13
Reservoir, Palm Springs CA

These tacos tasted fine, but they were pretty small for the price. The descriptions make them sound more substantial, but they don’t very much inside the tortilla. Oh well…

Chicago dog – Dapper Dog

Chicago dog - Dapper Dog
Pickle spear, tomato wedges, sport peppers, neon green sweet relish, yellow mustard, celery salt on a poppy seed bun. $7.50
Dapper Dog, San Francisco CA

This hot dog has a lot of toppings that I normally wouldn’t order (tomato wedges, mustard, relish), but it actually tasted pretty good together. That isn’t to say that I would order this again, though. Lol

Eric’s spicy eggplant – Eric’s Restaurant

Eric's spicy eggplant - Eric's Restaurant
Eggplant with chicken, shrimp, red bell pepper, and basil in a special spicy sauce. $11.25
Eric’s Restaurant, San Francisco CA

I’ve always loved this dish at Eric’s. The sauce is super tasty and the combination of proteins and vegetables is wonderful. It can be oily, but that’s common for most Chinese places so I’m not gonna judge it too harshly. Only if it was overly oily and greasy.

Indian rice bowl – Bamboo Asia

Indian rice bowl - Bamboo Asia
Brown rice with lamb meatballs, chickpeas, cauliflower, avocado, New Dehli slaw, cilantro, masala chutney, and cucumber raita. $10.10
Bamboo Asia, San Francisco CA

This bowl had a lot of everything! And I’m not sure everything taste great together. It could have benefited from a little editing in the toppings department. It was very filling though!

Belly rancheros – Kitchen Story

Belly rancheros - Kitchen Story
Slow braised kurobuta pork belly, avocado, arugula, kimchi pico de gallo, spicy guacamole, corn tortilla. Served with rainbow potato. $17
Kitchen Story, San Francisco CA

Wow, the pork belly was super tasty and tender. I loved the kimchi pico and the spicy guacamole too. This plate was actually pretty substantial especially with the potatoes so I just ate on “taco” and took the other to-go. Mmm…

Mini cheeseburger with egg – Super Duper Burgers

Mini cheeseburger with egg - Super Duper Burgers
One 4 ounce patty, ground daily all natural Niman Ranch beef. “Everything on it” with lettuce, tomato, red onions, Super sauce, and cheese. $7
Super Duper Burgers, San Francisco CA

This lil burger is frickin’ amazing! It’s definitely messy (the egg yolk and super sauce drip everywhere), but it’s worth the mess because it’s SO delicious.
