Eva’s Coffee, San Francisco CA
This was cool and chill place. The baristas were super nice and this danish was large and pretty good. There wasn’t anything special about the danish, but the great vibe made it better.

Herbed goat cheese, smoked almonds. $7
Starbelly, San Francisco CA
Mmm, this was very tasty! I will say that the beets were on the verge of being overdone, but they tasted great especially with the goat cheese and smoked almonds.

Braised beef tongue, tomatillo salsa. Served with side of black beans with queso fresco. $3.50
Uno Dos Tacos, San Francisco CA
I really like the lengua taco at Uno Dos. It’s always moist and tender and I love the flavor of it. Their side of black beans is also very delicious!

Cherries, chopped walnuts, parmesan. Prix fixe dinner $29.50
Hearth Coffee Roasters, San Francisco CA
This salad was tasty, but I’m really tired of the cold service that adds to an overall unwelcoming atmosphere. This was our final meal here with no expectation to return any time soon. I guess we’ll continue to search for our midweek go-to neighborhood joint for dinner.

Smothered in Roaster Fire sauce. Served with buttermilk ranch dressing, garnished with carrots and celery. $12.50
Sharps RoastHouse, SeaTac WA
These were dry, tough, and really gross! I can’t believe that a restaurant would purposefully server this crap. Either the chicken was really old or they just don’t know how to prepare their food. Yuck!

$4.50
Lemonade, San Francisco CA
Mmm, this macaroni and cheese was awesome for something that you get at a hot bar! I loved the truffle flavor and it was nice and gooey cheesy.

Ground angus beef and lamb, shallots, parsley, oregano and house tomato basil sauce. $11
Lark, San Francisco CA
These meatballs tasted great. They were a bit on the dense side, but not too bad. The sauce was especially tasty!

$2.35
L&L Hawaiian Barbecue, San Francisco CA
Mmm, there’s something about spam musubi that just hits the spot! It’s carby, salty, fatty and umami – just perfect for a quick, small snack.

Corn tortillas with signature slaw, homemade pickled jalapenos, toasted sesame seeds, and Nunya sauce. Each $2.75
Marination Station, Seattle WA
Yum! I loved the flavors of these tacos, but they were on the verge of being too salty. It was great to see Asian flavors in these tacos though and the toppings were delicious.

Fried egg, mornay, house rye toast, side salad. $16
Murray Circle, Sausalito CA
That egg is definitely sunny-side-up and not fried. I’m not complaining, but it just wasn’t what the menu said. This sandwich was really good, but also really heavy. I could barely finish it. It normally comes with fries, but I asked for a side salad instead. I can’t imagine trying to eat the sandwich AND French fries with it. I would probably explode, lol!

Ground chicken marinated cooked in clay oven on skewers. $8
Naan N Curry, San Francisco CA
Hmm, looks like I’ve been getting really dry food lately. This wasn’t completely dry, but it was getting there. Maybe in needed a dipping sauce or something to moisten it up.

1 pound bite size end cuts of pork ribs served with side of bbq sauce. $8.99
Big E Ales, Lynnwood WA
Hmm, these were really tough and dry. I guess I appreciated that they were on the lean side, but that also meant they lacked flavor and moisture. Not my favorite.
