Wow, this was amazing! Ugh, I really love great food and Le Pigeon certainly delivered. I mean who thinks of huckleberries and horseradish?! The lamb shoulder was delicious and all the component really supported it beautifully. Noms!

This place is like an Indian version of Chipotle. You choose you toppings and build your bowl, salad, or burroti. Anyway, I didn’t like it. It was mostly rice and not enough of anything else. Their scoops for the meat are tiny so there’s practically no chicken in there. You do get to choose as many sauces you want, but who cares if there’s no meat to eat it with. I need more meat!

This burger was actually really good. The beef patty was juicy and delicious and the grilled onions were yummy. And I’m a sucker for brioche buns!

I generally don’t get excited over fish dishes, but this was delicious and refreshing. The halibut was cooked perfectly – still tender and flavorful. The other ingredient and sauces were amazing with the fillet. Omg, I loved the ancho chile puree especially. Noms!

This grilled trout salad tasted good, but the trout fillet was really thin and didn’t feel substantial. It was also a pain and bothersome to pick through.

Ugh, these fried fish were REALLY greasy, yuck! And they seemed over fried too. I think the oil temperature must have been off. The fries were ok, but I was expected them to be thicker cut as indicated by the menu description. They seem “normal” cut to me. Am I wrong? This was definitely not worth the price.

I was finally invited to attend the Genentech concert this year, yay! It’s great because they buy out AT&T park and all the food and drinks are free. We sat out on the field and watched Colbie Callait, Foo Fighters, and Usher! I got kinda drunk, but had a great time. I also won stuffed animals playing carnival games. 🙂

Mmm, this sandwich was delicious! I loved the corned beef tongue. It was SO tender and flavorful. I also liked the kumquat relish – it was sweet but also had a bitterness and bite to it. So good!
