Rice noodle soup with eye-round steak and soft tendon. Medium with extra meat $7.20
Pho Than Brothers, Seattle WA
This pho was pretty good. I thought that the flavor of the broth could have been a little more developed. The soft tendon was good, but I didn’t finish it. The best part of the meal is the complimentary cream puff though. I’ve always liked their delicious cream puffs!

Cream puff and soup toppings. Complimentary

Strawberry, chèvre, fennel blossoms.
Le Pigeon, Portland OR
Fennel blossoms in my dessert, really? Genius! This was another beautiful dessert with some unexpected ingredient combinations.

Because you need a another reason to love this restaurant even more!

2 beef patties, cheese, bacon, tomato, lettuce. $4.19
Dairy Queen, Port Orchard WA
This was a decent burger. The bacon was thin and not greasy, which is a good thing. The tomato was not very good though.

Ceviche, shrimp, scallops marinated in lime juice and spices, topped with avocado and pico de gallo. $12.95
Tacos Guaymas, Seattle WA
These tostadas were bright and refreshing. There was plenty of seafood atop those crispy tortillas. I also liked the variety of their salsa bar. They even have some salsas that are actually spicy, score!

House margarita: Sauza Blue 100% agave tequila. $8

Chips and salsa. Complimentary

French crullers, blueberry scones, strawberry scones.
House of Donuts, Lakewood WA
I’m a sucker for French crullers so of course I enjoyed these donuts. They were pretty good but would definitely have been better eaten straight from the fryer!

$8.90
Yank Sing, San Francisco CA
Mmm, these ribs were great. I liked the simple and elegant presentation. The sauce was very tasty and slightly sticky so it stayed on the ribs fairly well.

Powdered foie gras sugar, caramel.
Le Pigeon, Portland OR
Omg, this was dessert heaven! I loved everything about it. Period.

Peanuts, vanilla soft serve, hot fudge. $3.89
Dairy Queen, Port Orchard WA
I grew up with Dairy Queen and it was always a treat to get one of their soft serve desserts. Ok, it’s not the best but it brings me back. 🙂

1800 tequila, triple sec, house margarita mix, orange liqueur float. Medium $13.50
Puerto Vallarta, Port Orchard WA
This place is pretty great for a quick happy hour. The drinks aren’t very strong but their complimentary chips and salsas are addictive.

Chips and salsa. Complimentary

Ham, whiskey cheddar, apple butter and stone ground mustard on focaccia, served with side salad. $9.45
Whiskey Gulch Coffee Co., Port Orchard WA
This sandwich was good, but there was A LOT of cheese. I like cheese as much as the next guy, but there has to be come balance when it comes to a sandwich (except for a super cheesy grilled cheese perhaps). The flavors were good though and the salad was great.

With oyster sauce. $6.50
Yank Sing, San Francisco CA
This was pretty good. I liked the presentation and that everything was was cut to size. Yum.

Hot tea. $1.95
I think it’s lame that they charge you for tea, but don’t tell you that. Lame!
