This is my last post for this place. Thank goodness because I’m tired of wasting posts on this horrible restaurant! 😦

Onions, green peppers, chilies, scallions. $16.99
Spices, San Francisco CA
This was good, but I don’t know if it was seventeen dollars good for Chinese food. I also thought it was weird that it came out on aluminum foil while already on a dish. The lamb was also not that tender. I liked the cumin flavor, but it should be on a best-of-the-best list
7×7 Magazine’s Big Eat SF: 100 Things to Try Before You Die

Coria Estates, Salem OR
This is what we drank during the 2017 solar eclipse under totality. It was great spending the morning at Coria Estates waiting for the eclipse. It was kinda cold, but we cuddled under a blanket to stay warm and drank plenty of mimosas and wine. 🙂

Smoked foie gras, foie scrambled eggs, croissant, bottarga, maple. 5 course tasting menu $85
Le Pigeon, Portland OR
Omg, this was SO good! I wish it was a little lighter (there was foie everywhere!) or had another fresh ingredient, but honestly I didn’t mind too much. I just felt guilty eating all of it, hehe.

Cocktail and rose wine.

Shoyu tare, chasu, ginger, kikurage, soy-cured egg. $14
The Ramen Bar, San Francisco CA
This tasted good, but I was kinda sad that my egg was beat up! If you’re paying fourteen bucks for a bowl of ramen, it better be good and intact. Lame…

Sweetly Baked, Salem OR
We went up to Salem to see the solar eclipse in August and ended up seeing it from Coria Estates Winery. Sweetly Baked was giving out free mini cupcakes to the guests, and they had a variety of flavors to choose from. These cupcakes were pretty tasty and super moist. Noms!

Knob Creek bourbon Manhattan. $9
Old Overholt rye, Bonal, orange liquer, orange bitters, Angostura bitters, orange peel. $10
The Box Social, Portland OR
I liked this place. They know how to make a decent cocktail and everyone was really friendly. These cocktails were also pretty tasty. Yay!

Crispy chicken, sweet potatoes, in honey Nanking sauce. Served with steamed rice. $8.95
Fang Restaurant, San Francisco CA
I love their Nanking sauce at Fang. I’m sure there’s a lot of sugar and salt in there, but it sure does taste good, and I also love that there are sweet potatoes in there!

Arabic basmati rice with goji berries and nuts. Bar seating $180
Pineapple & Pearls, Washington DC
These side dishes came with the Potter’s clay baked lamb, and they were delicious! This was so much food already even after all the previous dishes. I especially loved the basmati rice since it was so flavorful.

Lamb kibbe and stuffed grape leaf.

White bean stew cooked and flavored in a Native American style.

Dim Sum King Seafood Restaurant, Toronto CANADA
These were greasy, and I still hate this restaurant! #fail

$9.99
Spices, San Francisco CA
Hmm, I felt like this was all noodles. There was very little beef in here so I was left wanting more. And it wasn’t very spicy either. Not my favorite.

Roasted almonds, gummi bears, fig bar with La Marca prosecco. Complimentary
San Francisco (SFO) to Portland (PDX), Alaska Airlines
This was a cool little snack box from Alaska Airlines. I could have done without gummy bears, but oh well. More prosecco, please! Hehe!
