These rice noodle rolls were good. I will never ever return to this restaurant though because of the horrendous service! This was the worst restaurant experience ever! #FAIL

Assortment of cheeses and select cured meats accompanied by vegetables, nuts and dried fruit. Served with bread. $15
Villa San-Juliette, San Miguel CA
This was a straight forward meat and cheese plate, but everything on it was pretty tasty. I would have appreciated more variety in the meats to balance out the kinds of cheeses.

2 scoops of ice cream in a cup.
Fugo Desserts, Toronto CANADA
Omg, this ice cream was really good and I liked the texture of it. The flavors that they had were also really cool and inventive. I loved the saturated blue color of the Cookie monster ice cream. Yum!

Ontario cheese curds, beef gravy. $8
Amsterdam BrewHouse, Toronto CANADA
This poutine tasted fine I guess. The fries were nice and crisp, but everything was really cold! Everything I ate at this restaurant was really cold actually. I may not be Canadian, but I’ve poutine before and it’s not supposed to be cold. I don’t know about you, but I don’t cold gravy over cold cheese curds is very appetizing.

Braised, pickled vegetables, celery root puree, arugula. $13
La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant, Paso Robles CA
I liked the flavor of the braised pork cheeks and they were so tender and juicy. And I always love braising juices combined with a creamy pureed root vegetable.

Spicy miso ramen with double portion of pork cha-shu. $15.80
Hokkaido Ramen Santouka, Toronto CANADA
This was tasty! I loved the spice level of the broth, and the ingredients were great. The ramen noodles also had a nice bite to them. I just wished the chasiu was cut a little thinner so it would’ve been easier to eat. These were pretty thick and harder to eat.

Topped with classic pepperoni, fresh mushrooms, bacon crumble and mozzarella cheese.
Pizza Pizza, Toronto CANADA
I liked the flavor of this pizza, but it was almost room temperature! They should have at least reheated it! I may have been out prior to visiting this place late at night, but I can still judge the temperature of a pizza slice! The crust was also very chewy and difficult to eat.

Arugula, gruyere, Oscietra caviar. $15
The Restaurant at JUSTIN, Paso Robles CA
This was really good omelet! Maybe a bit too greasy with all the dripping butter, but it tasted great if you drained the butter to one side, I loved the simple arugula salad on the side too.

Morels, crispy mountaineer cheese. Bar seating $180
Pineapple & Pearls, Washington DC
Mmm, you gotta love French omelets. And they’re even better with morels gosh darn it! This dish was lovely and I loved the elegant presentation too.

Dim Sum King Seafood Restaurant, Toronto CANADA
These were decent potstickers. I liked the the slightly fried exterior, and they were quite sizable. The service here was the worst I’ve ever experienced at a dim sum restaurant anywhere in the world! #fail

Salami, artichoke, tomato, caramelized onion. $15
Villa San-Juliette, San Miguel CA
I liked this winery and I’m glad that they had food offerings as well. It was nice to sit in their patio to eat and drink after our wine tasting. This pizza was good. I liked the combination of toppings, but I wasn’t a big fan of the dough and crust. It was kinda dry and hard.

Cured meats, toasted crostini, raw and pickled vegetables, sage white bean spread. $12.30
Niagara Brewing Company, Niagara Falls CANADA
This charcuterie board was such a great value! This would have cost more in the States. I liked all the meats, and the veggies were delicious too. This was a great board to eat with all the yummy beer!
