Paella del dia – La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant

Paella del dia - La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant
With shrimp and linguisa. MP
La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant, Paso Robles CA

This paella was very yummy. I loved that it was saucy (not very traditional and more like a risotto). The linguisa made it nice and smoky and the shrimp were cooked nicely. Yum!

Pork cheeks – La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant

Pork cheeks - La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant
Braised, pickled vegetables, celery root puree, arugula. $13
La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant, Paso Robles CA

I liked the flavor of the braised pork cheeks and they were so tender and juicy. And I always love braising juices combined with a creamy pureed root vegetable.

Pan seared scallops – La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant

Pan seared scallops - La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant
Sweet mashed potato, seasonal mushrooms, white truffle olive oil. $15
La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant, Paso Robles CA

This dish was really tasty! I love all these ingredients individually so of course I loved them all together. I will say that the scallops were a bit on the done side though.

Ecuadorian shrimp – La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant

Ecuadorian shrimp - La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant
Roasted corn, romesco, shishito peppers. $15
La Cosecha Bar and Restaurant, Paso Robles CA

Mmm, I loved the flavor of these shrimp – so good. But they were kinda on the small side so it was a lot of work for little reward, they were getting pretty dried out. I liked the romesco sauce with the shrimp though, and shishito peppers are always a good choice.
