Goat stew with fingerling potatoes, beet salad with walnuts, fried piri-piri potatoes with saffron aioli, bacalhau (salt cod cakes), Achadinha Broncha cheese with honey, smoked duck breast with moscatel glaze, Pacific albacore tuna ceviche. $32 Tasca Tasca, Sonoma CA
This was a great Portuguese restaurant in Sonoma especially since there aren’t a lot of Portuguese restaurants out there! I loved all the different options they had on their menu and I thought that everything we ordered was really tasty. Noms!
Blackened imported catfish served over shrimp and crawfish rice and creole sauce, biscuit. $16.79 BB King’s Blues Club, Memphis TN
This dish was really flavorful and I liked that the creole sauce had a bit of a kick to it. The catfish, unfortunately, was on the dry side so that was disappointing. We were also seated at a horrible table even though the club wasn’t very full when we arrive and throughout our stay. #fail
This was kinda gross – it was so sugary sweet. Maybe it was the flavor that I chose, but I could barely eat a few bites of this before I got sick. I will say that you do get a HUGE scoop for only three bucks!
