We wanted to hit a rooftop bar while in Manila so we found the Sky Deck View Bar located at The Bayleaf Intramuros hotel. The bar is really cute and you get a 360 degree view of the city. We went during happy hour so the drinks were discounted. The snacks were also pretty tasty. These truffle fries were really good and sinful. Hey, I’m still on vacation!

I love roasting potatoes in truffle oil. I NEVER argue with a beautiful egg on top of anything!

I have a bottle – then the hubby bought me a second when he was on an interview. I have been roasting sweet and white potatoes in it and drizzling it over vine ripened tomatoes. It’s also good in a pasta dish that’s earthy and has lots of varieties of mushrooms. I know the foodie community can be divided on the “T” word, but I love the stuff!

Ahh Manila, I miss the smog skies 😛 Love the last picture of the city skyline and that’s an awesome view from the restaurant.
At least it’s not the smoggiest city I’ve visited (like Rome). I really had a great time! 🙂
