Great lemon flavor and the ricotta had such a soft and fluffy texture. The pastry shell was reminiscent of a pie crust. The whole thing was surprisingly filling considering its size. Delicious!
Coffee from Philz. It’s next door to Knead Patisserie so it’s super convenient to grad a cup to go with any pastries your get. Philz is still my fave!

This place is now serving full on lunches and dinners and even have a happy hour with discounted beer and wine. I haven’t made it for an entire meal, but I’m glad that this cafe is on my way to Bart so I can always duck in for a yummy snack to go. This mini pear tart was tasty! $3.75

Wow, I was surprised at how light and delicate this pastry was. The crust was super thin and flaky and the fruit filling wasn’t too sweet. There was a wonderful caramel-y quality to the whole thing. It was absolutely delicous!

This was a delicious, buttery treat! I don’t think I would normally order this because it looks kinda boring in a display case, but it’s absolutely exquisite. This flaky pastry is surprisingly complex from the multiple layers and condensed form. Loved it!

Pink passion flower (Passiflora caerulea X rubra, Passifloraceae), San Jose Avenue. This hardy perennial vine caught my eye as I was randomly walking down the street. I particularly loved the 2-toned filamentous anthers!

The croissant was on the small side, but it was very delicious! We also grabbed some coffee, a Sunday paper and had a lazy, relaxing morning poolside.

I’m not a big tea fan so I opted for coffee. I have to say that I really liked the finger sandwiches. They were really flavorful and the white bread with mixed cheese spread had a delightful texture and would playfully stick to the roof of my mouth. The scone with jam and clotted cream were also tasty and different. Yay!
These meat pies, made by Dickinson & Morris, contain coarsely chopped natural British pork seasoned with a special blend of salt and pepper wrapped in a delicious rich pastry. Natural bone jelly is added after baking. £0.50

These aren’t the healthiest snacks, but I figured that getting one mini pork pie wouldn’t be too bad for me. They’re actually really tasty, and the pastry shell is definitely buttery and rich.
Westminster Abbey north entrance, The Collegiate Church of St. Peter at Westminster. This beautiful Gothic church is the traditional place of coronation and burial site for British monarchy. This is also where Prince William and Catherine Middleton had their Royal wedding!
