Chicken kale caesar salad - Boudin Bakery and Cafe
Chiffonade Tuscan kale and romaine lettuce, all natural diced chicken, grated Parmesan cheese, creamy Caesar dressing with sourdough garlic crisps. $8.59

My favorite part of the salads at Boudin are the sourdough garlic crisps – kinda fitting. 🙂 The addition of kale to this caesar was a nice change of pace.

Falafel deluxe - Truly Mediterranean
Vegetable burgers topped with salad, eggplant, potatoes, and tahini sauce, seasoned with onions, and served on thin lavash. $7.95
Truly Mediterranean, San Francisco CA

Omg, this was delicious! Their falafels are SO good, and its really fun to watch them make and fry them in-house. This wrap was packed with so many tasty fillings – I want another!

Ground pork and cheese pupusas – Balompie Cafe #3

Ground pork and cheese pupusas - Balompie Cafe #3
Chicharron y queso. Each $2.50
Balompie Cafe #3, San Francisco CA

Mmm, these pupusas are SO delicious and SO cheap! I don’t get to Salvadoran restaurants very often (although there’s no shortage of them in the Mission), but I really do enjoy their food. The tart, pickled vegetables and mild salsa are great accompaniments.

Adana kebab wrapped sandwich – Gyro King

Adana kebab wrapped sandwich - Gryo King
Skewered minced lamb flavored with spice wrapped with lavash bread with tomatoes, mixed greens and tzatziki sauce. Served with French fries. $9.50
Gyro King, San Francisco CA

I liked this. Well, I liked the adana kebab anyway. The lavash was kinda dry so I wish they had put more tzatziki inside. I was also disappointed by the soggy, limp fries..

Pork and chicken liver mousse sandwich – The Sentinel

Pork and chicken liver mousse sandwich - The Sentinel
With truffles, orange mustard marmalade, sauerkraut. $12
The Sentinel, San Francisco CA

Wow, this has got to be one of my favorite sandwiches from The Sentinel so far! It was frickin’ delicious! I love liver mousse already, but they paired it with some amazing toppings for this sandwich. This was a special that they had, and I hope that I come across it again!
