Mayan mole dinner - La Tortilla
Chicken with home made chocolate plantain mole, served with rice, black beans, salad, guacamole, sour cream and salsa.
La Tortilla, San Francisco CA

This was pretty good. I liked the flavor of the mole. I chicken that I received was a huge breast piece which was a bit dry. I always prefer the juicier dark pieces.

Panang curry - Thai House Express
Beef, onions and peanuts. $12

This panang curry was on the salty side but I still liked the overall flavor of it. I just wish the slices of beef were less gristly and and a bit more tender.

Foie gras - Garcon
Brioche, mango, hazelnut.
Garcon, San Francisco CA

Wow, this was so rich and delicious! It was almost too rich to finish, but I’ve never been one to leave foie gras on my plate. The bright mango helped to cut some of the fat so I was fine, hehe.
