I know this looks really oily in the pic, but it actually wasn’t that bad. I think the lighting is misleading. I love eggplant dishes at Chinese restaurants and this was pretty tasty. The sauce was garlicky and delicious and the eggplants were nicely prepared. Noms!

I think I just threw up a little bit in my mouth just thinking about this dish. The eggplant was mushy, the chicken and shrimp were overcooked and of poor quality, and there was about 2 cups of rancid oil in there! GROSS, this place serves disgusting food.
Talk about salt overload! I know that hot and sour soups can sometimes get a bit salty, but this was out of control. I could barely eat much of this because I could feel my kidneys crying for help! $5.60

Not sure why I bought this since I’m not a huge fan of angel food cake (I mean it’s just airy carbs and sugar). But it tasted pretty good, especially with the almond slivers on top.

I’m not really sure why these are called crystal dumplings since they use the same kind of wrapper on most of the other dumplings but just have a slightly different shape. Hmm… Anyway, they were still delicious, hehe!

I’d never had this dumpling before and I really like it! If the sticky rice dough was any thicker or less cooked, I’m not sure I would have liked it though.
