Mmm, this beautiful cake was so delicious! Everyone was delighted by it at work. It’s so different from a regular sheet cake and such a novelty that it’s sure to please. The rum flavor permeated throughout and was very yummy. A definite winner!

Pollo enchiladas – The Little Chihuahua

Pollo enchiladas - The Little Chihuahua
Two enchiladas filled with grilled chicken, cheese, queso fresco, grilled onions and poblano peppers, served with black beans, Mexican rice and topped with red sauce, sour cream, chopped onions and cilantro. $10.75
The Little Chihuahua, San Francisco CA

These enchiladas were ok, but I had actually ordered them “for here” so it was annoying to sit at a table and eat out of a “to-go” container. I don’t understand right now…!

Cobb salad – Boudin Bakery and Cafe

Cobb salad - Boudin Bakery and Cafe
Chiffonade romaine lettuce, Point Reyes blue cheese, crispy applewood smoked bacon, all natural diced chicken, chopped egg, diced tomato, red wine vinaigrette dressing. $8.69
Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA

I liked/hated that they include a good amount of bacon in this salad. I guess that if you’re really trying to eat a healthier lunch, perhaps a cobb salad isn’t the best option. It was pretty good though.

Grazy daisy salad – Bamboo Asia

Grazy daisy salad - Bamboo Asia
Shaking beef with eggplant chips, seared pineapple, pickled veggies, cucumber, papaya vinaigrette, fresh herbs, sprouts, toasted almonds, green onions. $9.49
Bamboo Asia, San Francisco CA

This salad was a flavor explosion! I loved the eggplant chips and there were so many great ingredients. Even the shaking beef, which can usually be gross tasting elsewhere, was tasty and tender. This can definitely be a repeat lunch place.

Chicken curry – Muracci’s Japanese Curry & Grill

Chicken curry - Muracci's Japanese Curry & Grill
With brown rice and hot curry. $8.45
Muracci’s Japanese Curry & Grill, San Francisco CA

Mmm, I love the curry at Muracci’s! This chicken curry was really tasty and I love their hot (spicy level) curry option. I just wish there was  a little more chicken, but the price is great regardless. Noms!
