Salsa verde, queso fresco, sour cream. $3.50
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
This was a yummy lil bite was really tasty! There wasn’t much of the flauta, but I think the toppings and lettuce help make up for it.

Cheese, lettuce, onions, cilantro, sour cream, guacamole. $4.75
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
This was good. I like the barbacoa at Tropisueno. It has a nice flavor. Not sure the super taco price is worth it though.
Fresh Ecuadorian tilapia, Negra Modelo battered, fried with salsa verde, sour cream, house slaw. $4.75
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
This fish taco is decent. The fish isn’t overly greasy, and I love the amount of salsa verde they dump on top. Yay!
Onions and cilantro. $2.95
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
Simple and delicious! I keep getting their barbacoa lately because it’s so tender and flavorful.
Onions and cilantro. $2.95
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
I really like their beef barbacoa. It’s super tender and flavorful. And they don’t try to overfill these tacos with too much fancy toppings.
Topped with enchilada sauce and queso fresco. $4.50
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
I’ve decided that this enchilada is a bit too small for the price. Thank goodness I can filled up on their addictive chips and salsa! 🙂
Cheese, shredded lettuce, and salsa. $6.95
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
This was pretty basic, but it tasted all right. I liked the flakiness of the tortilla and the cheesy, gooey center.
With onions and cilantro. $2.95
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
Tropisueno doesn’t make the best tacos, but I certainly appreciate their simplicity. Add a dollop of salsa and you have a wonderfully fulfilling bite!
Topped with enchilada sauce and queso fresco. $4.50
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
This enchilada was fine, but nothing special. I really just come here for the salsa bar anyway. 🙂
Topped with mole sauce and queso fresco. $4.50
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
I do like the mole sauce at Tropisueno. It has a nice deep flavor without being bitter. Their a la carte enchiladas are definitely on the small side, but I just fill up on their complimentary chips and salsa anyway. Hehe!
With onions and cilantro. Each $2.95
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
I hadn’t had the al pastor taco here and it was kind of surprising to see the large pineapple chunks thrown on top. It somehow seemed unauthentic and cheese. Regardless, the tacos still tasted great.

These tacos are pretty simple and non-fussy, but the meats are tasty and their salsa bar is great. Mmm…
