With spicy popcorn. $13.50
Mariposa, Sedona AZ
This ceviche tasted great, but it was very soupy. I was a little confused with the popcorn – if it was is typically served with this type of ceviche.

Scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, wheat toast. $13
Woodlands Restaurant, Flagstaff AZ
Ugh, this breakfast buffet was mediocre at best. The service was wonderful though and the meal was complimentary so I can’t complain too much.

A chilled soup of fresh tomatoes and garden vegetables. $8
Rene at Tlaquepaque, Sedona AZ
This gazpacho tasted fine, but it was way chunkier than I expected. I usually think of a gazpacho as being smooth, but this was almost like a soupy salsa. Cubed veggies as garnish is fine, but there was just SO much of them. And they should have wiped the bowl rim.

4-item Build Your Own Flight. $16

Bagel, cream cheese, chopped eggs, onion, sliced cucumber, capers. $14.50
The Grille at Shadowrock, Sedona AZ
This was obviously pre-prepared so it wasn’t all that fresh, and they didn’t provide enough mini bagels and cream cheese for the amount of everything else. I did like the plentiful amount of food for the price.

House made charcuterie, TBOX breads, select cheese, other goodies. $16
Tinderbox Kitchen, Flagstaff AZ
This charcuterie board was delicious! I loved all the meats and the smoked duck breast was probably my favorite. Noms!

Churchill Manhattan: Bulleit rye whiskey, sweet and dry vermouth, blood orange bitters, lemon twist.
Hummingbird: champagne, elderflower liqueur, lemon, soda.

With spicy corn relish, pineapple criolla and fresh made chips. $13
Mariposa, Sedona AZ
The menu description was misleading. “Guacamole trio” sounds like it’s supposed to be three kinds of guacamole, am I right? Anyway, this was till very tasty, but I wish that the tortilla chips weren’t so greasy.

Rose de malbec, 2014 Crios, Argentina. $8

Manchego, cambozola, and Irish cheddar, served with fresh seasonal fruit. $16
Rene at Tlaquepaque, Sedona AZ
I wasn’t really impressed by the cheese on this plate, but I did like all the different fruit! This was probably the most fruit I’ve ever seen on a cheese plate.

Baguette and butter. Complimentary

Happy hour $5
The Grille at Shadowrock, Sedona AZ
The salsa was pretty good, but the chips were on the stale side. The happy hour prices were nice though especially for the margarita.

Margarita. Happy hour $5

Angus sirloin stir fry, roma tomatoes, soy-balsamic reduction, French fries. $22
Destino, San Francisco CA
Um, I didn’t really like this. It taste fine, but the beef was really salty and kinda tough. I don’t think that both rice and French fries was needed as sides.

Old Overheat rye, amaro, lime, blood orange bitters. $12
Pisco Latin Lounge, San Francisco CA
This cocktail was delicious. I loved the rich flavor and it was neatly made. The foam top added a nice texture too.

All natural ground bison patty, truffle aioli, cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, gem lettuce, tomato on an artisan white bun. $6.95
House-made pulled pork, barbeque sauce, caramelized onions & cole slaw on an artisan white bun. $5.25
Sliderbar, San Francisco CA
I liked the truffle bison slider. The truffle aioli was delicious, but the bison patty could have been more moist. I think it was a bit overcooked. The pulled pork was good but I wish it was had more sauce.

Cream-corn casserole, ground sirloin, shredded chicken, sun-dried black olives. $11
Destino, San Francisco CA
This was pretty interesting. I really didn’t know what to expect when I ordered it, but it tasted pretty good. I love casseroles anyway so it was great to try a Peruvian version.
