I love burrata cheese so I thought that these crostini were wonderful. The texture and flavor of the burrata was great and I loved the crunchy, toasted bread.

Japchae, lettuce, red cabbage, carrot, pickled radish, bean sprouts, grilled onion, finely sliced egg, and super spicy sauce. Served with soup. $9.50
BibimBar, San Francisco CA
This was really yummy and satisfying, but I completely underestimated the spiciness of their “super spicy” sauce. I ate it all, but my mouth was on fire for most of the duration. Next time I’ll opt for their medium spicy.

Goat cheese, marinara, pesto, fonduta. $15
Waxman’s Restaurant, San Francisco CA
This large meatball was really tasty! It was moist and tender and I loved the fonduta poured on top with the pesto. Delicious!

Lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, tzatziki sauce. $8.75
Gyro Xpress, San Francisco CA
This was much less greasy this time around! I could actually finish this gyro. I wish there was less lettuce and more of the other fillings though.

“Wrap and Roll” pork vermicelli noodle roll and fresh lettuce with nuoc cham dipping sauce. $6.60
Mekong Kitchen, San Francisco CA
These were different from other imperial rolls. The fried wrapper of the roll had a different texture than I’m used to and the roll itself tasted mostly of oil. I don’t think this was my favorite.

With pad thai. $9.99
Coriander Gourmet Thai, San Francisco CA
This was passable, not as real Thai food, but as a yummy and substantial lunch. I liked the large strips of chicken and the sauce was pretty good.

Dragon roll: shrimp tempura, eel, avocado, tobiko. California roll: crab salad, avocado, cucumber. Served with side salad an miso soup. Tuesday Daily Special $10.99
Tokyo Express, San Francisco CA
This wasn’t horrible this time around. The rice was fairly decent (at least not hard), and the rolls tasted good.

Fried potatoes with spicy tomato, pimenton and aioli. Happy hour $5
Aatxe, San Francisco CA
Mmm, I love papayas bravas! These were really good and I loved the smokey paprika and delicious tomato sauce. Noms!

Boudin Bakery and Cafe, San Francisco CA
I liked these muffins. They weren’t as sweet as others and I liked that they were on the dense side and very flavorful.

Bok choy, steamed rice. $8.90
Crystal Jade Express, San Francisco CA
This tasted good, but there was almost no meat on the chicken. It was mostly bone, cartilage, and skin. I liked the skin, but the lack of actual meat left me completely unsatisfied.

Mild thick curry with beef, broccoli, carrot, zucchini, bell pepper, and basil. Served with tom yum soup and rice. $8.95
Crepe & Curry, San Francisco CA
This was decent. I liked the flavor of the curry and and the vegetables were good, but the beef was a bit tough.

One 4 ounce patty, ground daily all natural Niman Ranch beef. “Everything on it” with lettuce, tomato, red onions, Super sauce, and cheese. $5.50
Super Duper Burgers, San Francisco CA
I was surprised when this came out because the patty looked MUCH smaller than normal. Are they really cheating us on beef?! #foodfail
