Red Mill Burgers, Seattle WA
Mmm, these onion rings were delicious! They were thick cut and hefty and the batter was great. They even weren’t that greasy. Score!

French meringue cookies paired with Meyer lemon ice cream rolled in toasted pistachios. $4
Parfait Ice Cream, Seattle WA
This delicate sandwich was good. I wish the ice cream was creamier though. It was on the icy side, but the flavors were spot on.

With carrots, celery, and blue cheese dressing. 5 pieces $7.50
Ballard Loft, Seattle WA
These sticky wings tasted great, but I do wish they were spicier. There wasn’t much kick in the “hot honey” sauce although it was still pretty tasty.

Super Fuzz blood orange pale, Elysian Brewing Co. Happy hour $5

Served with sriracha honey mustard and chipotle ranch dipping sauces. $8
Lookout, San Francisco CA
I’m kinda surprised that I like all the updated bar food at Lookout. These tenders were juicy and nicely fried, and I liked the interesting dipping sauce flavors.

Mild curry fish mousse served in a banana leaf basket. $10.95
Angkor Borei, San Francisco CA
I don’t think I’ve ever had a dish like this before. It had a very interesting, fluffy texture and it tasted great. The accompanying sauce was tart and salty, but pair nicely with the curry fish mousse.
7×7 Magazine’s Big Eat SF: 100 Things to Try Before You Die

American cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickle, red onion, Mill sauce. $5.19
Red Mill Burgers, Seattle WA
This burger was pretty yummy! The patty was juicy and the toppings were fresh and crisp. I also liked their Mill sauce.

Cafe Besalu, Seattle WA
Mmm, this bun was pretty AND yummy! I loved the nuts buried within its folds and it tasted great with the coffee.

Coffee. Tall $2

Horseradish tofu, garden herbs, fresh wasabi, asparagus veloute. $18
Commonwealth, San Francisco CA
This was ok, but nothing to write home about especially when the service sucks. This dinner was a bust overall!
7×7 Magazine’s Big Eat SF: 100 Things to Try Before You Die

Creamy cheese dip with homemade tortilla chips. $9
Lookout, San Francisco CA
Ugh, why is queso so delicious, but so horrible for you?! I don’t really care because I will eat this any day, lol! This wasn’t the best queso ever but it does the trick when you’re drinking. 🙂

With fresh chili, mushrooms, green beans, onions, and sweet basil. $9.75
Angkor Borei, San Francisco CA
The liked this dish. The beef was tender and all the vegetables were fresh and crisp. We ordered this dish “medium”, but it wasn’t too spicy. I think we should have ordered it “hot”.

Brown rice. $2.50

Served with bbq beans and coleslaw. $10
The Boneyard, San Francisco CA
Mmm, yes please! I love The Boneyard’s beef brisket. It’s so smoky, tender, and delicious. In fact, everything in this bowl tasted great.

Shallot infused rice topped with Meyer’s all natural braised short rib, Halmuni’s gravy, and a fried egg. $11
Seoul of Taipei, San Francisco CA
I thought I would like this more. The gravy had a nice flavor, but the short rib was pretty tough and difficult to eat. The fried egg also looked pretty unappetizing.
