Millionaire’s benedict – Kitchen Story

Millionaire's benedict - Kitchen Story
Millionaire’s bacon, poached eggs, asparagus, tomato, meyer lemon hollandaise. Served on ciabatta toast with rainbow potato. $17
Kitchen Story, San Francisco CA

Mmm, this was really tasty! But anything tastes good with millionaire’s bacon on it. I liked the rainbow potatoes too, but I wished the toasted ciabatta was a softer. You could cut your mouth on those things!

Home-made meatloaf – Ovok

Home-made meatloaf - Ovok
Served with mashed potatoes with mushroom bacon pan sauce, seasonal veggies, extra side of gravy. $14.95
Ovok, San Francisco CA

I liked the flavor of the meatloaf and the glaze was delicous, but it was a bit dense and try. The mashed potatoes were super heavy and just plugged up my stomach like a brick. Ugh!

Absinthe hamburger – Absinthe

Absinthe hamburger - Absinthe
Piedmontese beef chuck and brisket, aioli, gem lettuce, red onion, house-made pickles, french fries. Add fried egg. $18
Absinthe, San Francisco CA

This burger was very tasty, and very filling! I also love the hot, crispy French fries. I’m not sure why I thought I needed this and the soft pretzel rolls while eating alone for lunch. I was stuffed! But very content. 🙂
