Chickpeas and salad, hot sauce and dill sauce. $9
Tasty Kabob Truck, Washington DC
This was decent. The lamb was kinda dry and burnt on many of the edges, but I liked the overall flavor of everything.

Rita’s Italian Ice, Washington DC
Hmm, this was nice and fun but also very sugary. I liked the idea, but it wasn’t my favorite because I just felt like I overdosed on sweetness. Maybe it was just the flavors I chose. Hmm…

Prosciutto de parma, charred ciabatta bread, arugula. $16
SLS Las Vegas Hotel, Las Vegas NV
This was a nice and refreshing poolside salad. The combination of flavors was on point and the compressed melons had a fun texture. The prosciutto tasted great with the peppery arugula.

Topped with fresh strawberries and vanilla whipped cream. $11.95
Northside Cafe, Las Vegas NV
I liked this. I think the freshly whipped cream was the best. The strawberries were also nice and sweet. Mmm…

Eva Peron salami, Campari rosemary, foie gras and truffle bologna, poached fig rillettes. $21
The Partisan, Washington DC
Mmm, this was SO delicious! Each of the meats were so distinct and flavorful. It was a toss up on which was my favorite. The tigelle bread was also a nice change from your typical toasted baguette. NOMS!

Oriental eggplants stir fried chicken and basil leaves in a spicy black bean sauce. $9.95
Pasara Thai Restaurant, Alexandria VA
This was ok. It lack a punch of flavor and the spiciness that it promised. It was decent though and moderately priced for lunch so I can’t complain too much.

Scrambled eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes, blintz, pasty.
15 Ria, Washington DC
This breakfast buffet was decent. I liked the bacon and pastry, and the potatoes were more flavorful than the usual buffet variety.

With dipping sauce and vanilla bean ice cream.
SLS Las Vegas Hotel, Las Vegas NV
These beignets were decent. They could have been more fluffy, but they tasted great and I loved the clean presentation.

Topped with Nutella, vanilla whipped cream and candied hazelnuts. $12.95
Northside Cafe, Las Vegas NV
This French toast was my guilty pleasure. It was SO large (and sweet) that I couldn’t begin to finish the whole thing, but I certainly enjoyed it!

$12
Gajalee, San Francisco CA
I really liked this dish! The sauce was different from other ones of tried and it was delicious. It worked really well to neutralize the game-y lamb flavor.

With chocolate sauce. $7
Umami Burger, Las Vegas NV
This tasted old and the cookie was hard and dry. I didn’t like it very much. Umami, you’ve failed me!

With parmesan cheese. $7.99
Reggio’s Pizza, Chicago O’Hare International Airport (ORD)
This was gross. The sauce wasn’t very good and the meatballs were dry and flavorless. Ugh, airport food sucks!
