Mortadella, capicola, Genoa salami, spinach, red onion, olives, pickles, and pepperocini on wheat bread. $4.18
Subway, San Francisco CA
This sandwich was available for a limited time so I had to try it. Omg, there was SO much meat on this sandwich and it was still under only five bucks. For a Subway sandwich, it tasted pretty good!

Chef’s tasting $45
Tinto, Palm Springs CA
I love olives! These were great, but I thought they could have been infused with a little more flavor.

Sliced Angus beef, celery, green onions, carrots, wok fried in Szechuan sauce. $21
Wang’s in the Desert, Palm Springs CA
Another pretty salty dish from Wang’s. I liked the Szechuan sauce flavors, but it wasn’t spicy at all – not even a little bit.

The Kate, Triple Threat, Royale with Cheese, Lavender, Lemon Drop, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Salted Caramel, and more!
Cupcake Royale, Seattle WA
These cupcakes were not only pretty, but they were really tasty! I loved all the different flavors and they were moist to boot. Noms!

With pink peppercorn. Each $3
Garcon, San Francisco CA
These oysters were very tasty and the pink peppercorn vinaigrette was a great accompaniment. They did a very good job cleanly shucking them too.

Sparkling brut rose, Pierre Brecht, Cremant d’Alsace. $11

Fresh salsa and tortilla chips. $9.48
Anthony’s Fish Bar, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
I’ve always liked the fish tacos at Anthony’s. They’re not deep fried and the pineapple salsa really freshens it up. Mmm…

Served with clam chowder and soda.

Pork chorizo, jalapenos, mushrooms, pepper jack cheese, served with fruit. $14
Escena Lounge & Grill, Palm Springs CA
This omelet was pretty lifeless. It was overcooked and dry and even the filling ingredients couldn’t help it out. Hmm…

Mini blueberry muffin.

Baby lettuces, shaved mahon cheese, Pedro Ximenez vinaigrette. Chef’s tasting $45
Tinto, Palm Springs CA
This salad was simple but tasty. The shaved mahon cheese and Spanish vinaigrette really made the difference.

Bread and olive oil.

Sliced Angus beef in a spicy oyster sauce. $18
Wang’s in the Desert, Palm Springs CA
The beef was pretty soft and tender. I liked the halved bok choy, but they sauce wasn’t spicy at all. I needed more heat!

$2.95
Rodeo Donut, Seattle WA

This donut tasted great. I loved the chocolate pearls (caviar) and the vanilla cream filling was delicious. I thought the dough had a nice texture too. It was moist but had a lil bit of a bite.

With oyster crackers. $6.49
The Lockspot Cafe, Seattle WA
I liked this chowder. It was thick and yummy and there was a decent amount of clams in there. The Lockspot’s location right next to the Ballard Locks is also really nice!
