Canadian bacon, ham, and pineapple. $4.49
Sbarro, Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA)
This slice wasn’t very good. The crust was cardboard-y and there was SO much cold and lifeless cheese on it. It felt like work trying to eat this. Lame!

Da Dong Roast Duck Restaurant, Beijing CHINA
Omg, this duck was amazing especially the skin! It was so juicy and flavorful, and they slice it tableside and serve all parts of the duck. We also got the condiments so had a nice variety of toppings and sauces to wrap our roast duck with. A visit to Da Dong for their roast duck is a definite must when visiting Beijing!

Wrappers.

Staff member slicing our duck tableside.

We ordered pan-fried buns, but got these sesame buns instead. Boo!

Madarin oranges accompanied our check. Yay!

With tartar sauce and fry sauce. $9.75
Al’s Humdinger, Hoquiam WA
This fish and chips tasted great. I liked the halibut more than the fries though. I’m not a big fan of crinkle cut fries. Anyway, the fish was cooked nicely and not greasy. The fry sauce was also very tasty.

I loved the flavor of these ribs. They weren’t very meaty, but the sauce tasted great and they even gave you extra of it. Sticky ribs are just fun to eat! 🙂

Dining room.

Fresh mozzarella, crushed tomato sugo. $11
Piatti, Mill Valley CA
This tasted good, but I think it was too salty. I liked the melted fresh mozzarella on top though and there was plenty of yummy sauce.

Soft polenta, chanterelle mushrooms, parsnips.
Garcon, San Francisco CA
This dish was their nightly special and it was delicious. The beef cheeks were so tender and paired well with the vegetables and polenta. I loved the creamy polenta especially with the yummy braising liquid poured on top.

Northwest style white clam chowder with red potatoes and pancetta, served with oyster crackers. Cup $5
Mill 109, Pacific Beach WA
This chowder was very hearty, and I loved the smokiness from the pancetta. I will say that it was on the thick side though.

American Blonde Ale.

Jubel Ale by Deschutes.

I thought that this roast duck skin was good, but I was particularly impressed by how much caviar they served with it. It even came with a lid with the excess caviar to add more on top. Wow!

Black caviar.

This burger was messy, greasy, and absolutely fabulous! I ate easily like a Dick’s burger, but was substantially larger than one. This was a total winner in my book. Noms!

Il Canto Cafe, San Francisco CA
Wow, I was impressed by this pizza slice from a random cafe in the FiDi. It was delicious! The crust was buttery and perfectly cooked through (not doughy like other Sicilian style slices). The toppings were also yummy and they add plenty of gooey cheese for good measure.

Toasted bread crumbs, parmesan. Happy hour $5
Piatti, Mill Valley CA
Mmm, I love this green, fleshy olive variety. Piatti does a nice job of adding extra flavor to these yummy lil bites.

Chanterelles mushrooms, swiss chard, truffle emulsion, parmesan. $21
Garcon, San Francisco CA
This risotto wasn’t a success in my book. The risotto was overcooked and way too soft. The truffle emulsion also added to the soft and runny texture when mixed with the risotto. It had nice flavors, but I couldn’t get over the baby food texture. Hmm…
