This was a new and interesting dish for me. I’d never had uni this way before. It was pretty good, but I kinda wish that the uni was less cooked. I’m still trying to get used to eating sea urchin, but I would rather have a really great raw uni than low quality cooked uni. This uni wasn’t of the best quality, but it was ok and it definitely gross horrible uni. Here’s to trying new food!

I’m not a huge sandwich fan for lunch, but this was pretty good! Boudin is just around the corner from my office so it’s convenient. Now it’s nice to know that I actually like their chicken salad sandwich. I think it’s the addition of ingredients such as the almonds and grapes that makes it really good. I also like their clam chowder!

Mmm, SO good! These little porcini donuts were absolutely perfect! They were beautifully fried and very flavorful. I loved the rich raclette dip that came with it (and they also tasted great dipped in the horseradish creme fraiche that came with the sardine chips, hehe). NOMS!

Mmm, the broth in this ramen dish was really delicious! Was it the best ramen I’ve had, probably not but it was very tasty nonetheless. The noodles were good and the regular toppings were yummy. I was disappointed in the fried braised pork belly add-on though. It was too dry and tough for me. I also wish the egg was a little more soft and runny.

This place did NOT make a good first impression. The service was excruciatingly slow, and the food was overpriced. Each of these tiny skewers were $2.50, really?! And I ordered a glass of sangria when I first sat down, but it didn’t arrive until half way through our meal even after asking about it several times! That is simply unacceptable especially when the sangria is pre-made! They kept saying, “The bar is really busy.” Puhlease, it shouldn’t take 40 minutes to pour a single glass of bland sangria! Shame on you, Coqueta! #FAIL

This was ok. I appreciated that the scallops and shrimp were tender and not overcooked, but the sauce was pretty standard. I think it’s Henry’s “special” because it has a combination of proteins and not because it has a special sauce. In fact, the sauce was somewhat bland and boring. The dish was also on the greasy side.

These little bites were so much fun to eat! I didn’t know what to expect, but I loved that the sardines were weaved into the thin potato slices. But the star of the dish was the horseradish creme fraiche. Omg, it was SO good! I expected the sardines chips to be reasonably crispy, but they were actually a bit chewy. That was fine though.

Omg, this sandwich is frickin’ amazing! The short rib is super tender and oh so flavorful. I love the bbq sauce and mayo combination, and I also love the fresh soft sesame, potato(?) bun. This sandwich igoes down so easily and even though it’s pretty large, I couldn’t help but eat it all. Noms!

The food at Delica is pretty good and they use quality ingredients, often organic, but I felt like everything was just a little overpriced. This lunch combo did not fill me up at all and I was probably more hungry after eating this snack. It looks like a decent amount of food, but the portions are fairly small and unfulfilling. So the verdict is that the food is tasty, but don’t expect to get much of it.

I wasn’t impressed. This dish was bland and there wasn’t much of it so I was still hungry after finishing the portion. It’s definitely not a good quality for lunch, and it doesn’t taste authentic at all. Boo!
