Smoked salmon, crab claw, shrimp. scallop, crab dip, ceviche. Sunday brunch buffet
Seasons, Washington DC
I really liked their seafood selection and I didn’t even try everything. The fresh items seemed pretty fresh and their prepared items had great flavors so it’s nice that they didn’t sacrifice quality for the buffet.

Washington Monument at night.

Moroccan olives with olive oil. Happy hour $2
Luc, Seattle WA
What a great little happy hour spot in the Madison Park hood! The bartender took a bit to warm up to us, but she ended up being great!

Razor clam digging at Grayland Beach.

Sweet ‘n hot, apricot jalapeno, authentic buffalo. Six for $7.59
Wingmasters Sports Bar, Seattle WA
Came here to watch some college football with my brother. It’s his neighborhood bar and it’s a really fun with friendly staff. The patrons can sometimes be random to me, but everyone seems to be pretty cool (even the Cougar fans, lol).

Volleyball at Green Lake Park.

With egg fried rice, hot and sour soup, and barbecue pork. $8.75
Judy Fu’s Snappy Dragon, Seattle WA
Wow, this place has a really great lunch combo deal! I guess they tend to over-sauce their crispy chicken so my brother suggested getting the sauce on the side. The food was pretty good. I liked the barbecue pork and the chicken wasn’t too greasy.

Sesame chicken sauce requested on the side.

Suzzallo Library, University of Washington.

Bread pudding, donut hole, berry danish, croissant roll, fruit. Sunday brunch buffet
Seasons, Washington DC
I’m really not a big pastry person, especially so many of them but these were pretty good. A bite of each was plenty though.

Mount Vernon grounds.

With grilled onions and hot peppers.. $6.50
Rosamunde Sausage Grill, San Francisco CA
Mmm, so hot and greasy! The sausages are great here, but I have to give it to them when it comes to the toppings. They’re great and they definitely pile it on. Pair it with a some beer and you have a great meal.

Weihenstephan beer. $6.50

Bernal Heights Park.

Pretzel crust, salted caramel ice cream. $8
Table, Washington DC
Mmm, this was delicious! The panna cotta had a great firm texture and the salted ice cream tasted great especially with the crunchy pretzel crumble.

Shenandoah Caverns, Quicksburg VA.

With cheese, beans, jalapeños, pico de gallo and sour cream. $12.99
Pappasito’s Cantina, George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH)
This was kinda gross. The nacho cheese had that weird slimy texture and the chicken was super dry. The pico de gallo salsa was also really bland. I had a few bites and threw the rest away. I didn’t want to risk an angry bathroom visit on my next leg, lol!

Airplane view.

Double patties, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickle, sloppy sauce, frites. $14.50
Del Frisco’s Grille, Washington DC

And this was my last lunch in DC with a few people from my work group. It kinda made me sad, but it was nice working with the team at headquarters. Anyway, this burger was pretty good. It was juicy and had a lot of flavor. I loved the little squirt bottle filled with ketchup, and the parmesan fries were addicting. Noms!

George Washington display, Mount Vernon.

Assorted cured meats and cheeses, honey, walnut, grape, cornichon, fruit compote, membrillo. Sunday brunch buffet
Seasons, Washington DC
This was my final brunch in DC spent with some co-workers and I had a great time! The food selection was great at the Seasons Sunday brunch. I tried to get a little piece of everything but there were too many things to try. Noms! (I kinda miss DC sometimes…)

Shenandoah National Park VA.

Fried catfish topped with poached eggs and hollandaise, served with breakfast potatoes. $14.95
Warehouse Bar & Grill, Alexandria VA
The catfish was bland, the potatoes were sad, and the hollandaise was cold. Suffice it to say that I was NOT impressed and really just wanted to send this crap back.

Served with champagne and strawberries. Thank goodness for this!
