We were on our way to Park Guell and needed a quick meal so we ducked into Store Cafe. I loved how the ham just melted on your mouth, and how they lightly spread the bread with tomato. I don’t like it when Spanish places put too much tomato on their bread especially on their sandwich. I’m not even a sandwich person, but there is something about Spanish sandwiches that I really love.
Pret A Manger, Gatwick Airport (LGW)
This sandwich was actually longer to start, but I had eaten some of it before boarding my flight. I like Pret Am Manger because the food tends to be fresh and of good quality, and don’t over-condiment their sandwiches.
Egg, tomato, scallions, Tillamook cheddar on everything bagel. $6

This tasted pretty good. They didn’t have avocados because of the shortage so they substituted some delicious tomatoes. The bagel was a bit dry though.

This sandwich was pretty big, and it had a lot of flavor. I liked the pepperoncini relish, and of course the beets and frites were super tasty. I wish the bread was toasted though, or that the entire sandwich was pressed.

This was decent. The chicken was on the dry side, but I liked the overall flavors. Their tzatziki was particularly runny though.

This sandwich was delicious! I loved the Vietnamese flavors and the chopped hard-boiled egg was a great addition. The pork belly patty was moist and juicy and so flavorful. Noms!

This sandwich was pretty large and I was only able to eat half of it. I should have declined the mustard, but I loved the pile of pepperoncini. Mmm…

This sandwich was simple and very tasty. I liked their thin sliced mortadella and they put a good amount of it in the sandwich. The soft roll was even “soft” and a yummy choice for this sandwich.

This was much less greasy this time around! I could actually finish this gyro. I wish there was less lettuce and more of the other fillings though.

Mmm, this chicken sandwich was delicious! It was so juicy and flavorful. I could have eaten another one (but then I would have had to spend an extra hour in the gym). Food is definitely worth the gym time though, lol!

I really enjoyed this (even though my arteries say “no”!). The country steak was nicely fried and the gravy was tasty. The hash browns were also nice and crispy and not greasy. NOMS!
