Brasserie Barthelemy Lounge, Nice FRANCE
This wasn’t a good stop. The drinks weren’t very good, and even the little bites they served were kinda gross. Ugh…

Prupisceddu in umidu con tomatiga. In spicy sauce. $16
La Ciccia, San Francisco CA
Omg, this was SO delicious! The octopus was tender and that sauce was amazing. It was so rich and deep, and I could’ve eaten a vat of it. This would be great to eat on a cold, rainy day at the bar counter with a glass of red wine!

Tartare de boeuf. Served with fries. €13.90
Balthazar, Nice FRANCE
I was not impressed with this beef tartare. It had a weird texture and flavor, and it just wasn’t appetizing. The fries were good though.

Fenocchio, Nice FRANCE
This was really tasty! I loved the light texture of the ice cream, and the flavors were still bold and distinct. Noms!

Fresh Ecuadorian tilapia, Negra Modelo battered, fried with salsa verde, sour cream, house slaw. $4.75
Tropisueno, San Francisco CA
This fish taco is decent. The fish isn’t overly greasy, and I love the amount of salsa verde they dump on top. Yay!

€4.40
La Taverna del Born, Barcelona SPAIN
There wasn’t a lot of “meat” in these tiny guys, but they were delicious! They weren’t over cooked, and the sauce was very tasty.

Pomodoro, mozzarella, prosciutto cotto, wurstel, funghetti. €8.50
Il Galeone, Genoa ITALY
I love the crust of the pizza, and the sauce. I think any topping would taste great on this delicious base. I was a little surprised that wurstel was like hot dogs, but it actually tasted pretty good!

Pintxo gilda, smoked quail egg and mushroom, boquerone toast and mojo verde, jamon and squash croqueta, chorizo deviled egg. Happy hour, $1 each
Aatxe, San Francisco CA
I really need to go here more often for happy hour! I could eat these pintxos every day, especially at a buck a piece! Noms!

With crackers. Variat de tapes €15
El Berro, Barcelona SPAIN
This was kind of a mystery to me! I couldn’t tell if there was tuna or chicken in there, so I’m just gonna say that it was a vegetable salad, lol! It tasted fine though.

Mixed greens, olives, peppers.
Monu Cafe, Genoa ITALY
This focaccia was kinda amazing! It was filled with gooey, runny cheese and the outside was a little crispy and so tasty! I’ve never had this kind of focaccia before and I liked it immensely. Noms!

Gamberoisi in Birdi. Garlic, parsley, Vermentino wine. $29
La Ciccia, San Francisco CA
Mmm, these prawns were really tasty, but I couldn’t help but feel bad for paying almost $30 for 4 pieces of prawns. Hmm, first world problems…

Green salad, croutons, parmesan cheese, bacon, and caesar dressing. €13.90
Balthazar, Nice FRANCE
This was the weirdest caesar salad I’ve seen. It had mixed greens, fried chicken strips, and the caesar dressing tasted odd. Suffice it to say that I did NOT like this salad. Ew! That the service was really slow!

And these aperol spritzes were disgusting. I mean, they even came with marshmallows for god’s sake!
