6 pieces. Complimentary with order
Tao Yin Restaurant, San Francisco CA
These were really soggy by the time they arrived for delivery, but they still tasted good dunked in the pot sticker sauce.

Tomato sauce, grana padano, basil, and side arugula salad. $13
Harrow, San Francisco CA
This was a pretty tasty lunch. I wish the polenta was bit creamier, but I’m sure it seized up during the walk back to the office. The meatballs were good and moist and the lightly dressed arugula salad was a the perfect accompaniment.

Chili, cheddar cheese, diced onions. $8
Dapper Dog, San Francisco CA
This hot dog was big, mess, and pretty good. I wish they would have grilled the bun or at least heated it up though. It certainly hit the spot after a night out though, hehe.

Maple syrup. $15
Starbelly, San Francisco CA
This was really good! I’ve been disappointed by some of the fried chicken I’ve had at Starbelly in the past, but this version was really juicy and flavorful. The waffles were also pretty tasty and everything tasted great with the maple syrup. Mmm…

Mimosa and coffee.

Cilantro soy sauce, chili aioli, and sriracha. Part of Spencer’s Hot Appetizer Sampler $25
Spencer’s Restaurant, Palm Springs CA
These potstickers were rock hard and gross. You could chip a tooth trying to bite these things! And the “cilantro” soy was so salty as a dipping sauce. I’d say this appetizer was a failure.

Sparkling wine.

Half pound patty, Tillamook cheddar, grilled kaiser roll and fries. Happy hour $9.25
Arnies Restaurant, Edmonds WA
This burger was a pretty good size and nicely priced for happy hour. The fries were hot and crispy and wonderful.

With bok choy, green onion, cilantro. $6.50
Lee’s Deli, San Francisco CA
Sure, the sodium level in this soup is off the charts but it always hits the spot especially after a night of partying, hehe!

Goat milk frozen yogurt, coconut tulles, goat milk dulce de leche, cajeta, cilantro, and charred bro blanco citrus. NYE tasting menu $175
Californios, San Francisco CA

Vegetable soup, cheese, chocolate graham crackers, trail mix. Complimentary
United Club, Los Angeles International Airport (LAX)
I always appreciate hot soups served at the airport lounges. They’re warm and really help you to relax and unwind. They’re never the best quality but they can still hit the spot.

Cheddar cheese, horseradish, caramelized onion. $10
Fearless Coffee, San Francisco CA
This sandwich was disgusting and a joke! I swear it was three days old and they just kept putting it out hoping that it would eventually sell. The bread was hard and crusty on the outside and completely soggy from the sauce on the inside. The roast beef was dry and curled at the edges from laying around for SO long. I can’t believe that any establishment would sell this crappy-ass sandwich! #fail

Chicken, beef, and prawn. $12
Tao Yin Restaurant, San Francisco CA
This taste fine, but it was SO greasy! It was literally sitting in a pool of grease. I thought the proteins were cooked nicely, but I didn’t like everything coated in grease.

Three-chili sauce and napa slaw. Happy hour $8.25
Arnies Restaurant, Edmonds WA
This was pretty good! It’s comparable to what other restaurants call “firecracker” shrimp – breaded and deep-fried with a sticky mayo sauce. The napa slaw was nice in cutting the fattiness of the shrimp.
